An hour later
Nat: "Bruce texted. He finished fixing the machine"
Avery: "Can we go please i- i don't want to remember any of the things that you saw?"
Nat: "Are you sure?"
Avery nods
Natasha places one of her hands on Avery's cheek
Nat: "okay... I just want to make sure you will be okay"
She kisses avery and they walk downstairs
Bruce: "okay just step up right there"
Avery squeezes Natasha's arm tightly
Nat: "Hey what's wrong?"
Avery: "i-i"
She hides behind nat
Nat: "Hey, what's wrong? Talk to me"
Avery: "i-i it looks"
She gets flashbacks of what happened
Nat: "Avery. Avery. Avery"
Avery gasps for air
Nat: "Hey it's okay it's okay.. Just breathe now tell me what happened"
Avery: "memories just flooded in when I saw that that machine"
Nat: "av look at me. It will be over soon. We just need to fix what happened to you then you will never have to see that machine again"
Avery: "you promise?"
Nat: "I promise"
2 hours later
Nat: "hey av wake up"
Avery wakes up
Nat: "Are you okay?"
Avery: "y-yeah"
Nat: "come on let's sit down"
They sit down
Nat: "how do you feel babe?"
Avery: "my head hurts a lot and I feel really dizzy"
Nat: "you will feel better soon I promise. Want some water?"
Avery: "mhm"
Natasha gets up and pours some water for her
Avery: "where is everyone?"
Natasha: "getting cleaned up. The mission was a bit messy"
Avery: "what do you mean?"
Nat: "the building collapsed towards the end of the mission so everyone has dust all over their suits."
Avery: "were you able to get those two people though?"
Nat: "Yes we did. you are safe now"
