Ch 23

The following morning

Nat: "morning av"

No response.

She turns around

Nat: "av?"

She sits up

Nat: "Avery?"

Nat: "av babe are you in the bathroom?"

No response

Natasha bolts up and hurries to the bathroom She opens the bathroom door. No Avery

Natasha runs downstairs. Carol was in the living room drinking coffee

Carol: "Natasha. What's wrong?"

Nat: "have you seen Avery?"

Carol: "no why?"

Nat: "i woke up and she wasn't in our bedroom or in the bathroom. I don't know where she is"

Carol: "last i saw her was in the kitchen at 1 in the morning"

Nat: "i don't know where she is and this is worrying me"

Carol: "ask friday to locate her"

Nat: "Friday"

Friday: "yes ms romanoff"

Nat: "where is Avery? Is she on the compound"

Friday: "ms alexeev is no where on the compound grounds"

Nat: "when was she last here?"

Friday: "ms alexeev was last on compound grounds at 1 in the morning. She left in her car"

Carol looks at natasha

Carol: "try calling her"

Natasha pulls her phone out and tries calling avery

It goes straight to voicemail

Nat: "somethings not right. Her phone never goes automatically to voicemail"

Carol: " let me try"

She tried calling Avery but again. Straight to voicemail

Natasha grabs her car keys rushes out of the compound

Carol: "Natasha wait-"

Natasha didn't hear carol. She was already out the door

Carol: "Wanda"

She rushes to wanda's rom

Nat: "come on av please tell me you kept that-yes you did"

She tracks avery's phone to an abandoned warehouse

Nat: "She should be right here. Why here?"

She looks around

Nat: "av Avery"

She hears something land behind her

Nat: "this is going to be bad"

Natasha turns around

Nat: "avery. Avery is everything okay?"

Avery doesn't say anything and starts to walk towards natasha. Natasha notices the vest avery was wearing. It had the hour glass shape on it

Nat: "f*ck"

Nat: "avery avery listen to me its me. It's me, it's me talia. Look at me it's me not anyone else"

Avery lunges towards Natasha

Nat: "avery snap out of it i don't want to hurt you"

Avery throws a couple punches but natasha dodges all the punches

Nat: "Avery listen to my voice.  this isn't you this isn't the avery i know and love"

Avery throws a knife and it barely misses Natashas  head

Nat: "sh*t"

Natasha and avery start to fight

Nat: "Avery listen to me this isn't you snap out of it!"

Natasha punches avery but avery doesn't react. Avery grabs natasha and throws her against a wall

Nat holds her side

Nat:" sh*t"

Avery walks over to natasha as Nat struggles to get words out. She was in so much pain holding her rib

Nat: "a-av please!"

Avery knocks natasha out.

An hour later natasha wakes up. She was tied to a chair

Nat: "where am i?"

She tries getting out but is in so much pain she stops.

Avery walks in

Nat: "av what why are you doing this. It's me talia. Your girlfriend, your soulmate. Why are you doing this?"

Avery doesn't say anything. She walks over to natasha

Nat: "av listen to me please!"

Avery pulls out a knife from her pocket and places it on natasha's neck
