Ch 16

a couple of days later

It's been a week since Avery was taken

With Avery

Avery: "ugh my head"

She looks around

Avery: "what, what in the world"

Avery starts ripping the stuff off that was attached to her. She falls to the floor because she was very weak

Avery: "come on av you can do this you can do this"

She stands up and finds a change of clothes. Avery changes and rushes out of the room, There she meets Sharon again

Sharon: "How did you get out?"

Avery: "great"

They start fighting

Avery grabs a stapler from the desk next to her and hits Sharon. Sharon falls to the floor unconscious. Avery gets out of the building and flags down a person

Avery: "Can you take me to the avengers compound?"

??: "why do you need to get to the avengers compound?"

Avery: "please i'll do anything just drive me there"

??: "hop in "

Carol: "are you going to do it?"

Wanda: "yes I will just talk with her so i can-"

just before wanda finished her sentence "Avery" walks into the room 

Carol:  "Hey Avery!"

"Avery": "hey???"

Carol: "i was wondering if you wanted to hang out with wanda and i"

She continues to talk. Wanda walks up behind "Avery" and tries to look through her mind with her powers but she can't. "Avery" turns around

"Avery": "what are you doing wanda?"

Wanda: "nothing"

"Avery": "right..."

Natasha walks in

Nat: "hey av. i was wondering if you wanted to go out tomorrow"

"Avery": "I would love you. What can we do natasha"

Natasha pulls out a gun and points it at "Avery"

"Avery": "wow wow wow what are you doing?"

Nat: "what did you do with the real avery?!"

Carol: "natasha"

Nat: "WHAT DID YOU DO WITH THE REAL AVERY?!"

"Avery": "what are you talking about?"

Nat: "Avery doesn't call me Natasha or nat. She's actually never called me Natasha or Nat ever. She calls me by my birth name Natalia or talia. when we were brought together again for worl she addressed me as Romanoff, not natasha. And you haven't called me baby this past week which she does quite often"

Wanda: "I couldn't read her mind like there is nothing in her mind. No memories nothing"

The door opens and they all look to the door. It was Avery .

She falls to the floor. She was weak and dizzy from whatever happened to her.Carol runs over to avery and helps her up

Wanda: "what is going on?"

Avery looks up and sees the fake avery

Avery: "what the hell!"

Nat: "what the hell is going on?!"

Avery: "how? what? Who is this person imitating me"

"Avery": 'what are you talking about im avery'

Avery: "yeah right"

Carol: "what do we do?"

Nat: "i don't know"

She thinks

nat: " how old were we when we first met 

Avery&"Avery": "8 years old"

nat: "um okay when you turned 9 what did we get in trouble for?"

Avery&"Avery": " we got in trouble for sneaking out and knocking out some of the guards" 

nat: "great. okay alright, what else. that scar on your right wrist, what is it from"

Avery&"Avery": "being handcuffed at night while I slept"

carol: "what?!"

Wanda: "handcuffed while you slept!?"

nat: "not now' 

Natasha thinks about a way to see who the real Avery was, the only something that the real Avery would know

Nat: "lift up your shirt to your waist"

"Avery" lifts it up and shows the number 70 burned on her skin

Avery does not

"Avery": "Are you too scared to do it? I'm the real Avery. She's the fake im not"

Natasha shoots the fake avery

Carol: "how, what?"

Wanda: "how did you know?"

Nat: "the real avery wouldn't show that with others in the room. Only if it was just the two of us"

Natasha walks over to Avery 

nat: "where were you? what happened to you?"

Avery: "i- i can't remember that well. The last i remember was i was at shield headquarters and i bumped into someone. She asked if I could help her with something. I Said yes and we went to this room. We started fighting then pulled a gun out and shot me. Next thing i knew i woke up attached to these things and yeah"

Wanda: "do you know what her name was?"

Avery: "sally sh-shane"

Carol: "sharon?"

Avery: "yes sharon"

Nat: "I'm going to kill her"

Avery: "talia wait...dont please i dont want you to get hurt"

Avery starts to lose balance

Nat: "hey hey i got you"

Carol: "i'll tell the others"

Nat: "i'm going to take her upstairs"

Avery: "no im fine talia"

Avery loses balance again

Wanda: "avery you're not alright you're weak from whatever happened to you?"

Avery: "fine"

Natasha picks up avery

Avery: "no no no put me down"

Nat: "av you've come close to falling three times within the past 2 minutes. I don't trust you walking upstairs"

Avery: "fine"

Nataha carries avery to her room and puts her on the bed

Avery: "oww"

Nat: "oh my god im sorry im sorry"

Avery: "im fine im fine"

Natasha kisses avery's cheek

Nat: "do you need anything?"

Avery: "no i'm good"

Nat: "i'm going down with wanda and carol call me if you need anything"

Avery: "okay"

Nat: "love you babe"

Natasha walks down
