Ch 35

Avery: "are you sure you want carol and Wanda to plan it?"

Nat: "yes. They are our closest friends... besides I don't trust the guys at all"

Avery: "true. I would not trust them at all"

They both laugh

They drive to the compound

Bucky: "hey you both are back. how was it?"

Nat: "he or she is very healthy"

Avery: "we can't wait to find out the gender"

Bucky: "when are you guys going to find out"

Avery: "we have the gender right here"

She holds up a sealed envelope

Nat: "we just need to find out when carol and Wanda set up the gender reveal"

Bucky: "oh god"

Avery: "that's what i said"

Nat: "but it's better than the guys. No offense bucky"

Bucky: "none taken most of us are crazy"

The three of them laugh

Nat: "we are going to go find carol and Wanda"

Bucky: "they are in the movie theater"

Avery: "okay thanks bucky"

They walk into the movie theater

Avery: "hey we are back from the appointment"

carol: "hey how was the appointment ?"

Nat: "It was good. They are very healthy"

Wanda: "your bump is getting bigger"

Nat: "i know I can't believe I'm already 3 ½ months"

Avery: "so you  guys have any idea for the gender reveal"

She hands carol the envelope with the gender

Wanda: "we've been talking about some ideas"

Avery: "we are excited to see what you both are going to do"

Nat: "and kind of nervous"

Avery: "yes definitely nervous"

They all laugh

A week passes

Nat: "good morning babe"

Avery: "Good morning baby. How did you sleep?"

Nat: "I slept okay. My back was hurting. What about you? I heard you get up in the middle of the night"

Avery: "I had a nightmare last night about the red room"

Nat: "why didn't you wake me?"

Avery: "because you needed sleep. You were exhausted yesterday"

Natasha sits up and places a hand on Avery's cheek

Nat: "just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean that you have to keep that from me"

She kisses avery.

Avery places one of her hands on Natasha's bump

Avery: "I know but you and the little one are more important right now"

Natasha smiles

Nat: "still you and your feelings still matter"

She kisses avery again

Avery: "we should start getting ready for the gender reveal its in a couple of hours"

Nat: "yeah you are right"

A couple hours later

Carol: "is everything set up?"

Bucky: "yup everything is set up"

Tony: "we have the cake and sweets over there"

Wanda: "food is almost here"

Pepper: "they are 10 minutes away"

Steve: "I still can't believe they are having a kid"

Fury: "are they here yet or are we late?"

Clint: "no you are here just in time"

Fury: "hill is almost here. She's 5 minutes away"

Thor: "lady Natasha and lady Jordan are not here yet so that fine"

Maria: "I'm here wanda asked me to pick up some stuff"

10 minutes later

Avery and Natasha arrive. They all walk out onto the field. Carol and Wanda are explaining how the gender reveal is going to work

Wanda: "so this is how it is going to work. We were wondering how to do this with a special twist. We have two canisters with colored powder"

Carol: "On the count of three Natasha is going to shoot one and avery is going to shoot the other"

Sam: "this is going to be interesting"

Carol; "hold on we almost forgot the pins"

Wanda: "oh right. I'll go get them"

She runs into the compound

Carol; "sorry we forgot about that. But basically everyone will pick a pin either girl or boy and we will see who was right"

Wanda returns with the pin and everyone picks the gender they believe it will be

 bruce, thor, sam, fury, steve, rhodey, and Natasha pick girl 

 pepper, tony, maria, bucky, and avery pick boy

Wanda: "okay everyone"

Natasha and avery point the gun at the two canisters

Everyone:" 3..2..1"

Natasha and avery shoot the two canisters

One was pink the other was blue

Nat: "what?"

Avery: "blue and pink?"

All of a sudden bucky and Sam pop 2 balloons over their heads

Blue powder falls onto them

Everyone: "it's a boy"

Natasha and avery kiss

Avery: "we are having a boy i can't believe it"

Nat: "we are having a son"

They both kiss again. Then Natasha turns to Sam and bucky

Nat: "you two are so dead!!"

Sam: "she's pregnant she can't hurt us"

Bucky: "umm"

Nat:" I can still punch, throw a knife, use a gun etc"

Sam: "fair point blame carol and Wanda they were the ones to tell us to do this"

carol raises a fist and it starts to glow 

carol: "you just pissed off two people right now and I so happen to have powers that i can blast you with"

Everyone laughs
