Ch 2

An hour later 

In Avery's room

Carol walks into Avery's room

Carol: "sorry I'm late my meeting with nick ran longer than expected, what's the emergency"

Wanda fills carol on everything that happened

30 minutes later

Avery was pacing back and forth while Wanda and carol was sitting on the bed

Avery: "why why why out of all the people is had to be Natasha why couldn't it be someone else!"

Wanda: "avery calm down its not that bad"

Avery: "yes wanda yes it is very bad. Your soulmate is probably even better"

Wanda: "really you're dragging me and my soulmate in now. I'm not even 25 yet so i wont know for 3 years"

Avery: "out of all the people why her!"

Carol: "avery you need to calm down you are stressing out so much"

Avery: "how can i calm down if Natasha is my soulmate. NATASHA IS MY F*CKING SOULMATE!"

Wanda: "why do you both hate each other so much?"

Carol: "yeah since day one you both hated each other"

Avery: "because..."

Wanda: "because of what?"

Avery: "BECAUSE MY LAST RELATIONSHIP ENDED BECAUSE OF HER OKAY AND HER LAST RELATIONSHIP ENDED BECAUSE OF ME!"

Carol and wanda: "what?"

Avery: "because my last girlfriend left me for her years ago"

Carol: "Is that why you hate each other?"

Wanda: "but why does Natasha hate you?"

Avery: "because her boyfriend left her for me"

Carol: "ouch"

Wanda: "but you both did not date each other's ex right?"

Avery: "no we didn't but still"

Carol and wanda look at each other

Wanda: "so you both hate each other... because of that"

Avery: "and other stuff"

Carol: "Which is?"

Avery: "before you both joined Natasha and I would always go on missions together. We didn't  want to but tony made us"

Wanda: "what's so bad about going on missions together?"

Avery: "This is"

Avery moves the strap of her shirt so they can see a scar a bit lower on her shoulder

Wanda: "Avery what is that?"

Avery: "its from a mission. I was knocked out and who was suppose to save me. Natasha. did she... no. they were close to stabbing me in the chest but i moved just in time so they stabbed my shoulder instead. And where was natasha. In the van doing god knows what"

Carol: "so you both hate each other because of relationships and a mission?"

Wanda:"that's it?"

Avery: "other stuff as well that i can't talk about. I have training right now"

She walks out

Carol: "there is a big thing we are missing

Wanda: "i agree. I think the whole relationship story was fake"

Carol: "i agree. It seemed like a bunch of bullsh*t"

With Natasha

Steve and bucky were talking with Natasha in the kitchen

Nat: "I know you both are going to ask about the thing with Avery. Short answer. NO"

Steve: "well you both are soulmates so you are going to make up sooner or later"

Natasha grabs a glass of water and drinks from it while they continue to talk

Bucky: "well you both are destined to be with each other"

Natasha slams the glass on the counter and it shatters

Nat: "I'm so done with all of this so either get out or get punched"

bucky and steve book it out of the kitchen

Natasha looks at the shattered glass spread across the counter"

Nat: "great"
