Ch 19

Wanda and natasha get out of avery's head

Nat: "av"

Avery: "w-why did you do that? Why?!"

Nat: "Why...why didn't you tell me. I could have helped"

Avery: "because i- if- you'd hate me"

Nat: "hey i would never hate you"

Avery burst into tears. Natasha hugs avery

Avery: "I'm i'm sorry"

Nat: "babe it's okay"

She kisses Avery's forehead and they both put their foreheads together

Nat: "it's okay"

Avery hugs Natasha back tightly

Nat: "please please don't do anything to yourself. Please, I can't lose you. I can't lose you you mean so much to me"

Wanda: "you mean so much to all of us on the team Avery"

Nat: "come on let's go back inside"

She picks up Avery and carries her to her room. Natasha places her on the bed and pulls a blanket over her and She kisses Avery's cheek. Natasha sits next to avery on the bed and holds her hand

Nat: "everything will be okay babe i promise"

Wanda and natasha walk downstairs.

Everyone is in the main room talking about what happened. Then natasha zones out

Natasha hears Avery screaming

Nat: "av?!"

she sees a window and walks over to it 

in there she sees avery getting hit and beaten by some of the trainers

Nat: "avery n-no AVERY"

Clint: "natasha...natasha"

Clint shakes natasha

Natasha snaps out of whatever trance she was in

Clint: "you okay?"

Nat: "y-yeah...i'm going to go check on avery"

The following morning

Wanda: "how is she?"

Nat: "a little better... she cried herself to sleep yesterday"

Carol: "does anyone know what that device thing did to her?"

Wanda: "tony said that when they were digging through her memories to find information about her they unlocked memories she casted out and in order to do that again we need to hook her up to the same machine"

Carol: "we have the location right"

Nat: "Yes we do. We are leaving in 5 minutes"

Once they arrive

Tony: "natasha you and carol find the machine. Wanda and I will find the dr. steve and bucky find sharon"

They all split up

Nat: "is this the room?"

Carol: "I think so. That's what Avery described. How do we get it to the compound?"

Natasha takes a disk out of her pocket and throws it at the machine. The machine shrinks

Carol: "what the f-"

Nat: "scott gave me some disks"

Carol: "didn't he almost hit you with a gas truck a couple of years back because of those disks"

Nat: "I have no idea what you are talking about"

Carol: "sure"

Natasha walks over to get the machine

Nat: "here can you put this away"

Carol: "okay"

Carol puts it away in a pocket of her suit

Nat: "let's head back to the others"

With steve and bucky

Steve: "Why did you do that to her?"

Sharon: "because the avengers need to fall and what's better than each other making that happen"

They start to fight sharon

Bucky: "you messed with her head"

Sharon: "we needed memories to make it believable"

Steve: "you could have killed her Sharon"

Sharon: "if she died she died no big deal"

Bucky flips Sharon and throws her to the ground

Steve: "Was that one of those doctors' things? The alien from a week ago"

Sharon: "maybe it was maybe it wasn't you'll never know"

she laughs 

After they conclude the mission

Carol: "so how do we get this back to normal?"

Natasha throws another disk at the machine

Nat: "there"

Carol: "wow"

Wanda walks in

Wanda: "Bruce will be down to fix the machine right now. Nat, you should check on avery"

Nat: "I should i'll be back"

She walks upstairs to the bedroom

Nat: "av. babe are you okay"

Avery: "y-yeah"

Natasha walks over to avery. She

sits next to avery and holds her hands

Nat: "we found a way to help you"

Avery: "when, when can you help with everything going on with my mind"

Nat: "bruce is finding a way to reverse the machine"

avery looks down at the floor

Nat: "hey look at me... look at me"

She holds Avery's hands again

Nat: "next time you have those flashbacks or nightmares again. Anything like that tell me. I'll always be here for you"

She kisses avery.
