Ch 13

About an hour later

Nat: "hey are you okay?"

she helps Avery up

Avery hugs Natasha

Avery: "you scared me"

Nat: "Hey look at me"

she places a hand on Avery's cheek and put both of their foreheads together

Nat: "I'm okay it's fine everything's fine"

Avery hugs Natasha tighter

Avery: "she had a blade to your neck I thought i was going to lose you"

Nat: "I'm still here, I'm not dead. Even if someone tried killing me I wouldn't go down without a fight"

Avery punches Natasha's arm

Nat: "ow!"

Avery: "I hate you so much when you say stuff like that"

Nat: "come on let's get back home"

Avery: "okay"

They start walking to where Avery's car was parked when more screams filled the air

Nat: "what now?"

They turn around and see something in the distance

Avery: "is that-"

Nat: "yes that is"

Avery: "but i thought-"

Nat: "let's go now!"

they both start running towards the car while Natasha tries to call steve

Avery: "how is that possible I thought bucky couldn't be brainwashed anymore"

Nat: "that's what I thought"

Avery: "Talia duck!"

They get pushed to the ground by a strong force

Avery: "you okay?"

Nat: "yeah"

They get up and Natasha calls steve

Steve: "Hello?"

Nat: "steve what happened with bucky?"

Steve: "what do you mean?"

Nat: "he's out here in full winter soldier mode"

Steve: "What are you talking about? he is right next to me?"

Avery: "if bucky is with steve who is that?"

Steve: "where are you both?"

Nat: "downtown"

Steve: "We are coming"

Avery: "please tell me you have a gun, widow bites,  anything on you"

Nat: "I have two handheld guns a couple of the widow discs and that's all"

Avery: "we are so screwed"

Nat: "you think two top assassins would be prepared for anything"

she chuckles

Avery glares at natasha

Avery: "not the time Natalia"

Nat: "right"

She hands one of the guns to Avery

Avery: "we got this"

They start fighting "bucky"

"bucky" flips Avery onto a table and she goes crashing to the ground 

Avery: "sh*t!"

Nat: "AV"

Avery: "I'm fine I'm fine"

she gets up and they continue to fight

Avery: "TALIA WATCH OUT!"

Natasha gets shot

Bucky and steve arrive and start fighting "bucky"

Avery runs over to Natasha and kneels in front of her

Avery: "are you okay?"

Nat: "y-yeah"

Steve is fighting the fake bucky.

Bucky runs over to avery and Natasha

Bucky: "are you two okay"

Avery: "Talia got shot in the chest"

Bucky: "what about you Avery"

Avery: "I think I broke my arm but I'm not sure. I'll be fine. we just need get Talia out of here"

Bucky and Avery see steve struggling with the fake bucky

Avery: "go I'll take care of us"

He goes to help Steve

Avery: "hold on we will get out of here"

Avery takes something out from her pocket and rolls it to where bucky "bucky" and steve where fighting 

Avery: "close your eyes"

Nat: "why"

Avery: "its a flash grenade"

A bright light appears

Nat: "Why do you have that in your pocket?!?!"

Avery: "I used this jacket for an undercover mission and I forgot to take it out"

Nat: "oh my god"

Avery takes her jacket off and uses her jacket to apply pressure on Natasha gunshot wound 

They hear sirens in the distance.

"bucky" escapes and Shield agents arrive. they all get into the car

Natasha is in pain from the gunshot wound. she starts to close her eyes to ease her pain

Avery: "Hey don't close your eyes, please... Focus on my voice" 

nat: "I cant av it hurts so much" 

Avery: " hey you've gotten through more pain than this. besides we are almost there just hold on a little longer" 

They arrive at shield headquarters

Maria greets them

Maria: "get agent Romanoff to medical she's lost a pint of blood maybe 2. get someone to check on agent Alexeev's arm, it looks broken"

They rush Natasha to medical.

They are wrapping the bullet wound while talking

Avery: "hey baby how do you feel?"

Nat: "I'm okay for now"

Maria: "who was that out there?"

Steve: "we don't know he looked like bucky and fought like him"

Bucky: "he even had the old arm i use to have. or the one the winter soldier had, the silver one with the red star"

Maria: "This isn't good if they are cloning people especially if it's a super-soldier"

Nat: "whoever is cloning super soldier may be trying to get a hold of something important"

Steve: "exactly why we need to find out who is doing this"

Maria: "I need to inform fury about this"

She walks out
