An Unexpected Surprise - CHAPTER TWELVE

So we are a thing, Leo and I. That sounds so weird considering we hated each other in the beginning. I hated literally everything about him, his attitude, they way he talked, they way he got really seductive at really serious times, just everything about him. But now I can't seem to get enough of him.

After that night, Leo drove me around and everything. He drove me back home and I snuck through my window because I know my mom was going to want to talk to me about the whole situation. Leo already told me that he would kill him if he even looked at me. I just laughed and said it wouldn't be necessary.

The next morning came and Leo was going to pick me up so we could go to school together. I washed up and got ready for school. I ran downstairs knowing my mom was working. I go into the kitchen and get eggs, cheese, pancake mix, potatoes, and orange juice. Leo texted me that he's outside so I tell him to come on in.

I start the pancake mix and I hear the doorbell. I walk to the door only to see my boyfriend right there. Ughh he's so hot. I open the door and he pulls me into a hug and I kiss him. I jump on him and wrap my legs around him. He twirls us around and walks to the kitchen. He places me on the counter and he looks at the mix. "I'm making pancakes, want some?" I asked him. "Alright baby." He says. Even his morning voice is hot.

I get off the counter and proceed with cooking. I got a text from Liv.

Liv: Hey bitch. I'm hungry, make breakfast for me?

Me: Funny you say that I was already making pancakes, hash browns, and eggs. Head on over, Leo's already here.

Liv: Can I invite Antonio then?

Me: Ok bitch, I'll make more then

Liv: Yay thx

Leo walked up to me and held me from behind as I was cooking. He started to kiss down my neck and squish me with his arms. "Stop, I'm trying to focus." I giggle and start smiling. As he continues to kiss down my neck we get interrupted by the doorbell. That was quick, usually it take Liv 10 minutes to get here.

I tell Leo to flip the last pancake for me while I get the door. I walk up to the door and freeze when I see who's there. No, No, No, this isn't happening, I'm in a nightmare.

"You gonna open the door!" He says. I walk up to the door. "Sorry, I-, I-, I-" I say stuttering. "No, no excuses. Why haven't you called me back?" He says.

I shake as I'm afraid he's gonna hurt me or something. He might hurt me again. I wanna run away. I was about to take a step away when I heard a deep voice coming from behind me. "Hey babe." Leo looks at him. "Who's this?" Leo said holding my hand. "I'm her boyfriend." He says. I take a deep breathe, and for once I do something I've never done before. I stood up to him. "No, you're my ex-boyfriend, Edward. Meaning no longer apart of my life, meaning what the fuck are you doing here?" I say as anger starts to build up.

"Oh sweetheart she didn't tell you did she?" Edward says as he grins. "Your mother invited me to stay. So I can help you out. So you can become holy again." He says. "Yeah well, you can tell my mother, that I can take care of myself. Always have." I said yelling. "Well, why was I here when you were crying to me about your father. About your daddy issues. Did you want me to help you with that too? Again?" Tears form my eyes as he speaks. "Shut up." I whisper.

I turn to see Leo's hand into a fist and turn white as if he's trying to hold back. "What was that?" Edward says. "Shut up." I say a little louder. "Huh? I can't hear you." Edward smiles. Asshole. I stay quiet. "That what I thou-" I cut him off and yell. "I said shut the fuck up asshole. I don't want you to come here so, get the fuck out of my house."

"Sorry no can do. I'm going to be staying a few nights." He said. Leo is awfully quiet that it's starting to scare me. "So, if you could just move i'll bring my suitcase in." Edward says as he pushes me and tries to move past Leo. Leo stops him and puts a hand in front of him. "Did you not hear my girl?" Leo said. "Your girl? Aww did she convince you that she likes you? How cute, you can keep thinking that but at the end of the day she'll be riding my di-" Before Edward could finish Leo punched him in the face.

Edward fell to the floor and Leo continue to beat the shit out of him. I realize Leo wasn't going to stop so I put my hand on his shoulder. "Ok it's time to stop." I talked to Leo. He looked at me and stood there for a second. He stopped and grabbed my hand. "Get a bag you'll be staying at my house until he is gone." Leo demanded. Considering he was already mad I followed his order.

I go grab clothes for a couple days considering he won't be leaving anytime soon. I walk back downstairs and grab Leo's hand. Liv appears out of nowhere and gasps as she sees Edward. She walks up to him and starts to beat him up. "What the fuck are you doing here you piece of shit." Before she could hit him more Antonio rips her off of him. He puts her over his shoulder. "You lucky my man is holding me back. You lucky I don't beat the shit out of you and fuck you up. Next time I see you around my best friend again I'll fuck you up. So you better watch your fucking back bitch!!!"

Antonio laughs and starts to hold her to where her legs and arms are wrapped around him. He rubs her back. "It's ok baby. Calm down Leo and I will deal with him later ok? I just need you to take a second to breathe." Liv stopped for a moment and looked at Antonio in the eyes. How cute. Imma barf in my mouth.

So after that whole thing that happened, we went to school and I held onto Leo the whole time. Seeing my ex made me feel like I had to be watching my back the whole time. He always made me feel worthless like I was nothing. The times when I didn't have Leo in my class I would cling onto Liv.

Finally school ended and it was time to go. I wasn't going to tell my mother where I was going because then she would freak out. And I'm sure since she's besties with my abusive ex he'll tell her what's going on. Asshole.

Leo picked me up from my class and we went into his car. He opened the door for me and helped me inside. Before closing the door he kissed my cheek. When he went in he asked, "Do you need to go somewhere before we go home? Or do wanna get something to eat?" "I don't think I need anything," I said. "No? Are you sure you don't want ice cream?" He said smiling. "Well, I guess a little ice cream won't hurt." He laughed. "Ok baby. Your wish is my command." He said as I laughed. "You know how cheesy you sound." I said laughing even more. "Hey be careful what you say or you don't get any ice cream and I'll fix your attitude." He said sternly as I shut my mouth. My face turns a light red color.

We drove away and he put his hand on my thigh. One hand on the steering wheel and the other on my thigh. Lord have mercy. This man is so fineee and he doesn't even realize it.
