Lila's pov.

"Are we really doing this?" I ask as I turn my head over to Romeo.

He nods as he holds my hand.

"We don't have to if you're not ready." He says.

His voice is normal. He doesn't sound nervous at all but my heart is pounding out of my chest.

Can I do this?

Am I ready to do this?

I've been confident for awhile but now that the day has come, I'm shitting bricks.

"No, I want to. I'm just super nervous. How much time do we have until Stormi and Kaden gets here?"

Romeo checks his watch.

"About ten minutes."

I nod as I run my hands down my thighs.

I'm wearing a short white sun dress but I feel like I'm about to die from heat exhaustion.

My palms are sweaty and my head feels on fire.

"Baby, are you okay? You look like you're about to pass out."

I nod.

How embarrassing would it be if I back out now?

I've been encouraging this for weeks.

When I hear a car pull up, I run to the window and peek out when I see Kaden and Stormi getting out of the car.

I smile as I see Kaden wrap his arms around Stormi's waist and he pulls her in for a kiss.

They are soooo cute.

I wonder if we look like that when Romeo kisses me.

I jump when Romeo comes from behind me and grabs me.

"Quit spying, that's rude." He says before poking his head out the window watching them too.

I chuckle as I walk towards the door.

I wait for them to knock.

"They are still kissing." Romeo says after I stood at the door for over five million years.

Who kisses that long in someone's driveway?

Especially at a time like this?

I get impatient and open the door.

"Hey guys!" I say loudly

Stormi pulls away smiling and Kaden leans in and gives her a peck on the lips before going to the back door.

"Are you excited?" Stormi says walking up the stairs to the porch.

I nod faking a smile.
