Dear Readers,
Surprise! Yes, I know. Intermissions are only for concerts and theatre, please don't misuse this word. But you get the idea. Downtime, interlude, respite, break, call it as you want. This is an Author's Update, not a chapter. But rest assured, Chapter 10 will be uploaded after this.
I feel bad not leaving Author's notes at the end of my chapters. It doesn't feel as interactive as I wanted it to be, and I shall be talking to you guys more in future chapters heh. But know that I love you and appreciate you if you're still with me up to this point. I really hope it is to your liking ☺️💖 I even go over to your profiles to read your books (if you have any) when you comment on the chapters HEHE cuz I would love to give back support. I just want to explain that I'm currently going through lots of changes in the later chapters because I'm refining my plot. There are lots of editing here and there to work around my word count. But my rough story flow remains the same.
Also, my semester is starting soon and I, being a very task-oriented person, will be dedicated to my work all the way until my exams in late November or so (Yes, I'm quite old. How old are you? 🤪)
Hence, under these circumstances, I foresee difficulty keeping to my weekly schedule and will be posting my chapter in longer or irregular intervals. It might expand to two weeks, maybe three, or even monthly, depending on how busy I am with effect from August to November. (Gosh, I can already feel the stress of my first few assignments, especially my psychology assignment 🤯)
That being said, fret not! I definitely will work on this book anyway, especially when I'm procrastinating or when lessons are boring af LOL. So, rest assured, I plan to finish this book with dedication instead of leaving it discontinued.
Still, updating this book will be slow-paced for me in this period because I don't want to stress myself out with additional deadlines for this book on top of the deadlines for my assignments. So it will serve as a getaway from my real-life stress once in a while 😌
Nonetheless, I hope I don't lose you amidst my callback to reality! I really enjoy writing this book, drifting off into Narnia, and I really hope this story is to your liking as it takes you there too 💖
