Two months passed by and the best time of Yn's life

Two months passed by and the best time of Yn's life. At least that's what she thinks. Eunwoo and Yn were handling the business very well, making sure to make it hell for Jungkook. All the misery was a key to Yn's happiness, she thinks but hates to look into his eyes. Every time she looks into his eyes, she couldn't stop but feel things. She sees sadness, sorrow and regret in them and hates it when it hurts her heart.

Right now she was in her office working on her laptop when a faint knock echoed through the room.

"Come in," She allowed without moving her gaze off the screen.

"I've completed the project file, you can cross-check..." Jungkook spoke as she looked at him and then check the sheets. "Also, I wanted to ask for my paycheck..."

"Oh, yeah," Yn answered as she took out an envelope from her drawer and bent forward to hand it to him but as he came closer, she intentionally spilt the venti coffee resting on her desk as it landed straight on the ground.

"Tch, you never forget to bring your jinx," She blurted out as she stood up and peeked at the other side, at the ground.

"Sorry, let me call a cleaner for this..." Jungkook apologized as he stuffed his hand into his pocket to take his phone out but stopped at Yn's next words.

"Are you not aware of the fact that the entire cleaning staff is either on the rooftop or the ground floor at this hour?" Jungkook passed her a confused look as she continued, "Why disturb them when we have you?"

The smirk she held on her face, scared him for real. Especially after experiencing how torturous she has become, he couldn't help but feel fear rising in him.

"Hand me your blazer..." Yn spoke after she extended her hand towards him just to get a frown on her back. She rolled her eyes and repeated in a much more stern voice, "I said hand me your blazer."

Jungkook slowly nodded as he started removing his blazer. He passed it to her, getting more confused by Yn now coming towards him. She stopped right beside the spilt coffee and to his absolute amazement, she threw it on the liquid and stopped her left foot and dragged it right to left, cleaning the floor with his clothes.

"Clean it properly, take your check and leave," she asserted roughly and walked back to her seat.

With an aching heart and tears welled in the corner of his eyes, Jungkook kneeled as he swiped the fabric to clean the floor. Every moment in the past months, all he felt was his dignity getting killed slowly.

After cleaning properly, Jungkook stood up, with the dirty blazer in his hand, took the envelope and walked towards the door but before he can leave, the doorknob twisted itself and the door opened, revealing the person he has hated the most in these past two months.

Cha Eunwoo.

For Jungkook, Eunwoo was just a gutter mouth who blabbers only trash and tries to exhaust him. Jungkook never gives up and tries his best to prove to him that he is not that muscular for nothing.

While Eunwoo greeted Yn with a cheeky smile, Jungkook eyed the duo hugging each other and cursed Eunwoo in his mind. He hated the fact that Yn was in contact with Eunwoo, especially because of the certainty of Eunwoo's appearance. No matter what he says, in the end, he accepts that Eunwoo is indeed a man giving tough competition. He yearned to get the smile Yn was giving Eunwoo and he couldn't help but blame himself and feel guilty for losing the smile he was once a reason for.

"Jeon Jungkook!" Jungkook snapped at the loud yell from a fuming Yn as he realized he was staring at them the entire time. "I've been calling you for the hundredth time now. Stop zoning out."

Before Jungkook could respond, Eunwoo spoke cheerfully, "So, yeah, that's how Mr Choi agreed and now... It's time for our Yn's success celebration! On me, of course. This Saturday, okay? I have special guests too~"

"Okay~" Yn replied with the same enthusiasm as she hugged Eunwoo when a sudden throat-clearing voice stopped her. "Oh yeah, Mr Jeon, I would like to ask you to serve our special guests on Saturday. I'm sure you don't mind."

"I would to make it clear that your special guests have nothing to do with me, hence, I have the right to deny it. Also, the entire staff gets a holiday on weekends so I'd like to not do any work or attend the party itself," Jungkook expressed most professionally and politely as he could.

"Oh, if you don't want to... Then, how about..." Yn bent a little towards her drawer, took out a chequebook and scribbled something on it before coming in front of him and waving it to him, she spoke, "For this? You'll especially serve our guests for bucks, right?"

Jungkook looked at her with despair and then looked at Eunwoo, who stood behind with a smirk on his face. A smirk assaulted Jungkook's attitude and Jungkook uttered, "Yes..."

"Then be at the avenue... Now leave with that stinky blazer of yours," Yn disgustedly spoke as she threw the cheque right on Jungkook's face and left the room.

Jungkook slightly flinched when the cheque came right on his face and it only drilled his heart. It ached him so much that his first love was hating so much that she never leave a chance to torture him.
