It took me awhile to get over him
It took me even longer to realize I loved him.
It took me even longer to realize he wasn't who he said he was.
And it took me even longer to delete that person from my life completely.
I'll talk to him and laugh and it'll be like the good ole days
Too bad the good ole days will never be the same.
I stood here broken hearted for 5 months. 5 long months that seemed like 5 bitter years.
5 months of 'I've changed' and 'I'll be the one you want."
But you aren't.
In those 5 long months I realized someone who has always Been there but I never really notice because of the shit the person that caused the 5 months had done.
This man has been here so much longer than 5 months.
It took me awhile to notice him.
It took me even longer to give him a chance.
It took me even longer to meet him.
And it didn't take that much time to fall in love with him.
