WLMA: SPECIAL FORCES (COMPLETED)

Matapos ang morning routine ng mga sundalo mula sa Special Force Unit ay pinatawag silang lahat ni Commander Estrella. The Commander won't gather all the soldiers for an audience if there is no important mission.

"Good morning, Sir!" everyone greeted as they saluted.

"At ease," the Commander stated. "The Special Force Unit is under investigations, the headquarters doubt that there's a mole in this unit. Starting today, no one is allowed to go out of the camp without any important business outside. Back then, I allowed all of you to use your gadgets inside the camp but starting today, you'll surrender all of it to my office. Understand?"

"Yes, Sir!"

"Although we are under investigations, we still have a mission. A criminal named Mad dog escaped from the prison and we are tasked to hunt him down. Mad dog is a criminal with tons of violations. He's a serial killer, a drug dealer and user, and he's connected to a crime family. After 2 years in prison, he never said anything except he isn't mad dog. That only means, someone powerful is behind him and it is stopping him to say something. He can't say anything or else he'll die even if he's inside the prison. A mafia has a lot of connections, after all."

Mad dog. Pamilyar ito kay Kitty ngunit hindi niya alam kung saan niya nakita o narinig ang pangalang ito. Dati niya na itong narinig ngunit hindi niya maalala kung saan at kanino niya narinig ang pangalang iyon. Siguro ay wala naman siyang paki sa mga bagay-bagay noon kaya hindi niya ito pinagtuunan ng pansin.

"We need to get him back, he's the only key to uncover the person behind him."

"Sir!" one of the soldiers called.

"Private first class Poncho, do you have something to say?" the Commander asked.

"Commander, didn't you say 'after 2 years in prison, he never said anything except he's not mad dog?' If we can get him back, how are we going to make him speak? He's afraid that the person behind him will kill him once he says something, how are we going to protect our key?" Poncho asked.

"The headquarters will be the one to handle that, not us. Protecting a criminal isn't part of our job, Private First class Poncho." Akma sanang magsasalita si Danica para sabihing parte rin ito ng trabaho nila dahil isang Westlander pa rin ang criminal na si Mad dog ngunit hindi niya na naituloy pa dahil muling nagsalita ang Commander.

"Our mission today is to find Mad dog and bring him back to the prison. That's the only order they gave us. SF unit are asked to find him within 24 hrs. Get ready," sabi ni Commander Estrella.

"Yes, Sir!" sabay-sabay nilang lahat ns sagot at nag-salute sa Commander.

Mag-iisang buwan na rin silang walang ginagawa sa kampo at puro training lang. Ngayon na mayroon silang misyon ay hindi mapigilan ni Kitty ang ma-excite. Malamang ay na-miss niya na ang sumabak sa barilan at sa isang misyon. Halos araw-araw ba naman siyang nag-perform ng inverted rappelling dahil sa phobia niya.

Halos lahat ng dugo niya sa katawan ay napupunta sa ulo niya dahil pabaliktad ang pagra-rapell na pinapagawa sa kaniya.

Matapos magbihis sa kanya-kanyang uniform ay agad rin silang lumabas ni Danica. Nagtungo muna sila sa opisina ni Commander Estrella para i-surrender ang kanilang mga cell phones.

"Magiging boring na naman lagi ang araw ko dahil wala akong cell phone." Danica heaved sigh.

"You can always talk to me," Kitty replied with a smile.

"As if, Kitty. You're always with Gavin, kahit sa training." Kitty just laughed slightly at naunang maglakad.

Pagdating nila sa sasakyan ay nakasakay na rin ang iba pang team sa kanilang sasakyan. Handa na talaga ang lahat para umalis. "Kitty, what can you say about Mad dog?"

"Hmm... his name suits him base on the crimes he committed," Kitty answered.

"Aside from that!" inis na singhal ni Danica na ikinatawa ni Kitty.

"I think he's not only a murderer, a drug dealer/user, and a person connected to a mafia. I think, he's more than that. Like he's not just connected but a member of a known mafia in West Land," Kitty stated with a serious look before entering their military car.

"'Yan din ang nasa isip ko. And remember what the Commander said? Mad dog won't admit that he's mad dog. Something's fishy," Danica said as she followed Kitty inside the car. She sat beside Warner while Kitty sat beside Gavin. Sergeant Lowell and Drey on the other hand are on the passenger seat and driver's seat.

"You're talking about Mad dog?" the man beside Kitty asked.

"Yeah, she asked me about my opinion..."

"I see," tugon ni Gavin habang tumatango.

"What about you, Gav? Anong masasabi mo kay mad dog?" It's Warner who asked.

"Mad dog, the name suits him. He's a mad dog in the body of a man," Gavin answered.

"Parehas kayo ng sagot ni Kitty, weirdos." Napatawa na lang ang lahat dahil sa sinabi ni Danica. Both Gavin and Kitty looked at each other, it was like both of them are talking.

"Hoy, staring contest?" Drey asked.

Agad nag-iwas ng tingin ang dalawa sa isa't isa. 'What's with them?' Hindi mapangalanan ni Drey ang kaniyang nakita sa naging reaksyon ng dalawa. Tila ba mayroon silang pinag-uusapan gamit ang kanilang mga mata na hindi maaaring marinig o makita ng iba. 'Signs of in love siguro.'

"The Commander asked our team to assist the SF unit who'll raid a building. The Commander received a tip from the intelligence that Mad dog is currently hiding at an abandoned house," Sergeant Lowell said.

"Abandoned house?"

"Yes, it is located near the forest hill village."

Napakunot ang noo ni Kitty sa kaniyang narinig. Forest hill, malapit lang ito sa bahay nila. May kilala ba ro'n si Mad dog kaya napili niyang doon magtago? Madali lang siyang malo-locate doon dahil maraming CCTV cameras na nakapalibot, bakit doon niya piniling magtago? Kampante ba itong may poprotekta sa kaniya?

'Just who the fvck are you, Mad dog? Who are you in the mafia circle?'
