A/N: I have this weird headcanon that Gabriel likes snakes and that's gonna show up.
Gabriel took a deep breath and focused his energy into his hands. He gazed at the armour stand that Ivor had enchanted to have reflexes and attacks. Suddenly, a small hissing noise threw off his focus. He felt his ice skim the back of his neck, cutting his hair down to it's normal length. He looked down and found a small adder at his feet. He smiled and kneeled down. The adder looked at him with mild curiosity. Gabriel took of his gauntlets and smiled gently at it. The adder gave what was more than likely a smile. Gabriel ran his fingers over it's scales and relaxed. The snake climbed onto his arm and settled there. Gabriel continued to stroke it,
"GABRIEL THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?!" Came Ash's alarmed yell. Gabriel looked over his shoulder and called over,
"Don't worry, it's harmless,"
Ash walked over, relaxed again, to have a look. She knelt next to him and nervously placed her fingertips on it's scaley head. Gabriel smiled,
"See, it won't bite,"
Ash stroked it. A voice said,
"It's a snake," A tall girl with chocolate brown, thick, wavy hair, blue glasses and bright blue eyes came over. She was in purple and black armour. She knelt down and immediately began to stroke the adder,
"Hi, Bethany," Ash said pleasantly. Bethany grinned,
"Hi," She said, "I'm assuming you two aren't married yet or did you not want me to come?" She asked. Gabriel smiled gently,
"You know we would have invited you, you're Ash's friend and my sister,"
Bethany smiled gratefully and proceeded to stroke the adder on her brother's arm. She looked up,
"I'm sorry about Soren and Lydia," She said quietly. Gabriel smiled sadly,
"Thanks sis,"
Ash also looked up,
"No one's being sad on my watch. Any weird things between your idiots,"
Bethany giggled, "Oh yes, one of their pretzel fights got very entertaining,"
Gabriel shook his head, "Do I want to know?"
"That depends if you want a good laugh," Bethany said, grinning.
