Gabriel and Milly looked for a while, catching up with each other, before Gabriel finally said, "This is the one," It was a diamond ring with rhinestones encrusted into it. Milly nodded and said,
"You don't need to pay,"
"But-"
"No,"
Gabriel sighed. He was not going to win this. He smiled and hugged his old friend, "I hope we meet again someday,"
"Me too,"
Gabriel quickly went to find Ash, using the network of alleyways. He found her by the beach. Smirking, he moved as quietly as possible before scooping her up in a bridal style. Ash gave a small confused noise before laughing and putting arms around his neck. He placed her back on the ground, grinning. Ash looked at him,
"What took you so long?" She asked, as she slipped her fingers with his. Gabriel smiled, "I'll tell you when we find the last two," He kissed her lightly on the lips. As they broke apart, there was a cry of:
"Gabriel!"
The pair turned and saw an older couple. The man was pale and had reddish-brown eyes with greying black hair. The woman had fair skin and greying brown hair. Gabriel smiled warmly at the pair,
"Mr and Mrs Lisian,"
Mrs Lisian hugged Gabriel and Mr Lisian shook his hand. Ash walked next to Gabriel, an extremely confused expression on her face, "What? I'm so confused,"
"Oh god! Ash, I am so sorry!" Gabriel said, "This is Mr and Mrs Lisian, Ellegaard's parents,"
Ash nodded, "Hi," She said awkwardly. Footsteps sounded from across the street,
"Someone said my- MUM! DAD!" Ellegaard ran towards them, grinning. She slowed down and hugged her parents. Gabriel stood back, smiling. Ash placed her head on his shoulder. He blushed. He swept her hair over her left shoulder. He kissed her head, passionately. Ash smiled with endless love. She entangled her fingers with his. Gabriel's smile became less pleased for Ellegaard and more with endless love. Yes, it would be perfect in the end.
"Your parents say much?" Ivor asked, once they had all regrouped. Rosalyn's sister, Keira, had joined them. Ellegaard nodded,
"Yeah, were mostly checking how I was though. Usual parent stuff I guess,"
Meanwhile, Ash and Gabriel walked side by side, in comfortable silence. Ash then looked up at him and said,
"I've just realised how long your hair is,"
Gabriel chuckled and placed an arm around her, "This is a problem to you?"
"Nope! It means I can braid it now," She was not wrong. The warrior's hair was now at his shoulders, and that was without it wet.
