Taking her home

I wake up super early like 7
I get up and go to the nursery
I stand outside the window thing searching for my baby
I find that beautiful bean in her box with our names on it
She was peacefully asleep until a nurse walked in and she woke up and started crying

The nurse tried to stop her crying
But she fails and it wakes another baby up
I tap on the glass and she comes out with my crying baby
Me: here let me
Nurse: ma'am unless this is your baby I cannot do that
Me: it is Griggs
I show her my wristband
Nurse: ok
She hands me the baby
And she looks at me and stops crying for a little
Nurse: oh that's great wow thank you I better get this other one back to sleep
Me: ok
I take brently back to my hospital room and lay back down beside q
After a while she starts crying again
Me: shshshshhhss
I pull my bra down and she latched to my nipple after a second try
She starts sucking
I'm guess big her crying wakes up w because he rolled over and groaned
He opens his eyes
Quinton: oh good morning
Me: mornin
He kisses me
Quinton: when can we go home
Me; I don't know
He was staring at her drinking
Me: are you looking at her or my boob
Quinton: can't it be both
He smiles
Me: no
Quinton: I'm gonna go see when we can leave
Me: k
He gets up and grabs some clothes out of the bag and goes to the bathroom
He comes out and goes to the lobby and comes back
Quinton: cmon baby we can leave in 15 minutes
Me: ok get the stuff together
He rounds up all our things and the nurse comes in
Nurse: hey mom how ya doing
Me: good
Nurse: ok well since you've had 3 kids I'm guessing you know how to do things
Me: yep
Nurse: ok I have a wheel chair right here and y'all can leave
I get into the wheel chair and Quinton gets the car
I buckle in brently in her car seat
We go home and the kids were waiting around
Arden: cmon now you know mom and dad are gonna forget about us now
Sterling: what do you mean no they won't they love us
Arden: yea but its a baby s them mom will be so busy with the baby she won't give us lunch money or make y'all's lunch and there will be no breakfast or dinner
Sterling: but dad
Arden: he only ever wants to make mom happy
Sterling: I don't believe you Arden they can't forget about us
Rowen: Arden your crazy momma and dad won't forget about us that's dumb
Arden: mhm you'll see
I look at q
Quinton: he's wrong babe go
He whispers
I give him brently and pretend open and close the door loud
Rowen: momma! Dad! He runs and hugs us
Me: hi baby
I kiss his head
Me: did y'all have fun yesterday Emily took y'all for ice cream right
Sterling: yep
She stands up and we hug
Me; I missed y'all so so much
I look at Arden and give him a big hug although he's taller than me
Me: I wish y'all could've came down to the hospital
Sterling: yea me too
Me: do y'all wanna meet your new little sister
Sterling: yea
Rowen: can I hold her
Me: course Rowe
Quinton made his way into the living room
Sterling: omg she's so cute I wanna hold her
Me: you can all hold her
Arden: I need to put my phone on charge
Me: here I'll do it
I put his phone on the charger
Arden: thanks
Rowen: I wanna hold her
Me: ok sit down then I don't want you to drop her
He sits all the way back and I place a pillow in his lap
Quinton places her in his lap and moved over behind Arden
Quinton: we need to talk
He whispers to Arden but I over hear
Arden sighs and walks down to the very bottom floor
Quinton: go to the theater
Quinton follows
ARDENS POV
You can't tell me what I said isn't true because it is she's gonna be all stunned on the new damn baby and forget about us like she did me when rowen was born and she was pregnant with that other baby
Arden: what is it
Quinton: why did you say that
Arden: what I said before y'all got here it's the truth I only said the truth
Quinton; which part is the truth
Arden: all of it both of y'all will forget about us just like when rowen was born
Quinton: no we didn't Arden if you felt like that you should've said something but we never forgot about you
Arden: it was all about mom every second Arden get this for your mom Arden get that you only do everything for her just to make her happy
Quinton: because she has been through so much you don't know about that all I can do is try to keep her happy
Arden; and you still won't tell me what happened that's so bad
Quinton: Arden your not our first kid
Arden: what
Quinton: your mom she was pregnant about a year before you
Arden: and where is it
Quinton: she miscarried
Arden; oh
Quinton: and after that she was just really really depressed she never left the bed or ate I mean I had to drag her to even shower it was terrible she tried to kill herself so so so many times and then we found out we were pregnant with you and we got married and all and we had sterling and rowen them we found out we were pregnant with the other little girl and she miscarried again
Arden: oh yea
Quinton: and she hated herself she thought she screwed everything up and again she tried to kill herself
Arden: even though she had us
Quinton: yea that's really the only thing that kept her from trying again but you don't understand how much pain that was I mean for me it was terrible but to have a child and then it dies before it can see the light and you think it's all your fault so yes I do try to make her happy because I don't want her to try again because I couldn't imagine living without her and raise if you guys with out her
Arden; I'm sorry dad I didnt know
Quinton; I know you didn't know Arden she didn't want anyone to know
Quinton: but this isn't about her it's about you because I didn't have 4 kids and not care about how they feel so if you ever want feel left out or forgetten or anything that's not happy you better tell me because I'll do whatever it takes just like I would for your mom or sterling or rowen or your sister that wants to meet her big brother
Arden: I'm sorry
Quinton: don't be
He hugs me
Quinton: oh and if you ever need to talk we can because your mom ya know the one that forgot about you has noticed that you've been down so what's with that
Arden: I don't know I just don't really like school
Quinton; well good thing you only have 2 more years
Arden: can I get a car
Quinton: when you learn how to drive
Arden: will you teach me how to drive
Quinto : grab some keys I'll take you whenever
Arden: can we go now
Quinton: tomorrow right now we need to go out there
Arden: ok
We make our way back up to mom and sterling and the new baby and rowen
I give mom a hug
Arden: I'm sorry
Mom: for
Arden: everything I'm just sorry
Mom: oh it's ok bear I love you
Arden: love you too momma
Sterling was holding brently
Arden; can I hold her
Mom: ofcourse!! Come on let your brother hold her
She takes her out of sterlings arms and hands her to me
Arden: she looks like me kinda
Me: yes she does
She is am really small but I don't want to say that
CHLOES POV
Me: what do y'all want for dinner
Sterling: can we have pancakes
Me: so breakfast for dinner
Rowen: yes
Me: Arden?
Arden: sounds good
Me: ok
I go to the kitchen and start cooking
Ardens still holding brently and I can't help wonder what he's thinking or what Quinton said to him and everything what if he hates her I can't
I finish making breakfast and set the table
We eat and I put my. 2 DAY OLD BABY. To bed shocking I. Know
I lay down with q
Quinton: how tired are you
Me: oh very
I kiss him
Me: what'd y'all talk about
Quinton: noneYa
Me: ugh ok hey um I'm supposed to be starting a igtv thing
Quinton; ok
Me: I was just letting you know because Shawn will be coming every Tuesday to film
Quinton: ok baby
Me: you have nothing to say about it
Quinton: nope that's your job bubs
He gives me a kiss
Me: how is she sleeping jeez watch we will be up and 3
Quinton; no cmon
I lay back and he cuddles up to me and we fall asleep
