Ch 31 - The Guests and Day Before The Wedding

You and Grayfia were both still sleeping when a knock came at the door waking both of you up.

"Coming!" Grayfia called out while getting out of bed and putting on a bathrobe to cover herself.

Grayfia opened the door and the whole OCR was standing there with smiles on their faces.

"Well just don't stand there. Come on in so I can shut the door." Grayfia said moving out from in front of the door.

You decided to get out of the bed and get fully dressed while everyone was talking. Grayfia removed the bathrobe and got on her usual attire that she wore. It didn't even seem to phase her that breasts were exposed. Upon seeing Grayfia's breasts exposed, Issei all of a sudden had a nosebleed and fell unconscious. You and Kiba couldn't help but laugh.

"Still can't handle it." you said while laughing causing everyone to laugh at Issei.

"That boy has got to learn that there is more to life then seeing a woman naked." Grayfia said while shaking her head.

"True, but he is mine. I told him that all he had to do was ask to see mine and I would show him but for some reason he refuses to ask." Rias says while shaking her head.

"Well to be honest with you, he seems to hold you on a pedestal like you are a goddess. He probably doesn't want to be that way with you because he wants to prove himself as a man and treat you with respect. Why don't you sit down and talk to him some time Rias?" you say.

"I will do that during the after party of the wedding." Rias says.

You just nod your head. You look over towards Koneko to see Gasper trying to hide behind Koneko looking around nervously. You walk over to them.

"Why so nervous Gasper? No one here is going to harm. You are safe here in heaven bud. Come on. Let me show you around today and introduce you to some places that you will fit right in?" you say.

"You don't mind that do you Grayfia?" you asked.

"By all means. The girls and I have things to do today for things to get ready for tomorrow. Oh, by the way we will be staying in separate rooms tonight on different sides of the place set for our wedding. I can't wait to see you again tomorrow at the wedding." Grayfia says giving you a kiss in front of everyone surprising them since it's the first time they have seen her kiss someone.

"Come on guys. Let's have some fun for the day." you say while leading the way out leaving Issei on the floor and with the girls.

Since it was still in the morning, you decided to stop by the eating area that you were shown by Irina. Everyone sat down and placed their order for food when the angel stop at their table to get the order. You had an omelet to eat while Kiba had steak and potatoes. What drew you attention was the glass of liquid that the angel set down in front of Gasper. The liquid gave off a smell of like metal.

"Is that blood Gasper?" you asked.

"Yes. I have to drink blood to survive even though I don't like the taste. They added other stuff in it to cover up the taste of the blood." Gasper said.

"Would you mind if I tasted it?" you asked making Kiba to start choking and Gasper give you a weird look.

"You really want to try it?" Kiba asked making sure he heard you right.

"Yeah. I would like to see what it's like to be in other peoples' place. Plus I learned that you should always try new things and I thought it would make Gasper more comfortable to see that there are others that want to be his friend and get to know him better.

Gasper handed you the glass. You took a small sip thinking it was going to have a metallic taste and taste like blood but to your surprise it had more of a fruit punch taste to it. You handed the glass back to Gasper.

"That actually didn't taste bad. They really covered up the taste of the blood. It tastes more like fruit punch kool-aid. If you ever wanted some of this, I can always get some for you Gasper if it will help you to drink blood easier" you say.

"I would really like that." Gasper said smiling liking the fact that you were try things to help make him fit in.

"Anytime bud. You are family to me." you said while ruffling his hair like you would a little brother.

Kiba couldn't help but smile at the fact Gasper had found someone to look up to besides himself that would help teach him on how to be a gentleman. Once everyone was done eating breakfast, Gasper said he wanted to check out rings. He said he needed one for something but didn't specify what. Kiba knew what was going on decided not to say anything. You took Gasper to the shop where you got yours. The girl seemed to be there again from the day before.

"Hi again. Ahh, I see you are here today Gasper. I know who you are and was asked to give you something. I was going to send someone to find you but now I don't have to do that. If you gentlemen will follow me to the backroom I have something that you all will want to see." the angel says leading the way to the back of the shop.

Once in the back, the angel walks over to a table to picks something up. She heads over to Gasper and holds out her hand. The item she has in her hand is a ring with a nekomata on it. It wasn't just any nekomata. It resembled Koneko in great detail. If you had to guess a value for the ring, it would cost more then most people could afford. She handed it to Gasper while she went and grab a ring box for it. The box she brought back would even cost quite a bit itself. The ring around the middle where the clasp is was made out of sapphire with gold trim around the bottom and top. Gasper took the box and put the ring in it gently. You had feeling of what was going on now and could only think that if the ring is meant for who you thought, that she was one very lucky girl. After Gasper had the ring in his pocket, everyone thanked the angel. They left the shop with Gasper seeming to be extremely happy. You took the group around to some festival like places that you had seen when Irina had given you a tour around the area. To stay in shape, you and Kiba had a practice session against each other. Gasper watched from the side listening to the blades clash against each other. Kiba would sometimes pick up the pace just to see how you were handling the different speeds of countering attacks. After a while, the girls showed up to drop Issei off and they stayed for a while to watch the training going on. Koneko sat down next to Gasper to where their shoulders were touching. You couldn't help but have a smirk and instantly turned your attention back to the duel. After a while the girls got up to leave. As they were leaving, Grayfia's voice popped in your head. "You are getting better and doing well. Keep up the good work and training".

After a hours, You both stopped dueling. You got much better at judging movements and were starting to have lightning fast reflexes. You, Gasper and Kiba decided to stop back at the place everyone ate at for breakfast and grab a big meal. To your surprise, Gasper ordered a cheeseburger with his glass of blood. Everyone had a good day and it was starting to get dark out. Gasper and you apparently were staying at the same place the day before your wedding. Kiba left both you and Gasper at the building and headed off to the normal sleeping area for everyone. Both you and Gasper each took a separate shower. Once you were both back in the sleeping area Gasper turned towards you.

"Thank you (F/N) for everything today. You were the first to ever try drinking blood and making me feel like I was normal." Gasper said

"Sure thing bud. You are family and I don't see anything that you do as weird. You are who you are and nothing can change that. Be yourself. If people can't accept you for who you are, then there isn't any need to be around those people. Everyone here is family. The angel that served us didn't even see anything was weird about you. Even they accept you for who you are. Try and get some sleep bud. Tomorrow is going to be a long day and if my guess is correct we are both in for a really long day." you say.

Both you and Gasper crawl into bed and you reach over and turn out the lights.

"Goodnight (F/N)." Gasper said from the other side of the room.

"Goodnight Gasper." you say before drifting off to sleep to the sound of Gasper playing the handheld game that he had going.
