Chapter 34

"Congratulations, Mr. Kristoffer Miguel Tan! You have been appointed as the new CEO of Astral Group of Companies. . ."

It was Friday afternoon when the board of members announced that I am taking over Mom's position as the CEO of the company.

Everyone congratulated me after the meeting was adjourned pero saglit lang ako nanatili sa conference room. I wouldn't want to stay for a little chit-chat dahil mahirap na't baka matagalan ako roon at ma-stuck na naman sa opisina. After all, I have plans this Friday afternoon— gusto kong bumyahe papunta sa Lobo.

I have to send Kosher a message on messenger.

Me: OTW na ako. See you later. :)

My mind was too preoccupied that I didn't notice my secretary was talking to me.

"... Then tomorrow afternoon, Sir, you have a golf game po with our potentional Japanese investor. Si Mr. Kishimoto."

I let out an exasperated sigh before I glanced at her. "Aicel, didn't I tell you before that I am not working on weekends? Why didn't you confirm about that with me first?"

Damn, I just want to breathe some fresh air and see Kosher this instance.

But since ikaw na ang bagong—"

I abruptly stopped from walking and then turned to face her. "Aicel, no matter what happen, clear my schedule on weekends," I seriously retorted leaving her in more panic.

"B-But, Sir..."

"My weekend is devoted to my girlfriend," mabilis na tugon ko bago siya tinalikuran at dire-diretso ulit na naglakad sa malawak na lobby ng building.

"O-okay. Noted, Sir. I'll reschedule it nalang po on a weekday."

"Any update sa requests ko?"

"Y-Yes, Sir. She has listings of properties for lease and sale around Batangas City, Lipa, Agoncillo, Nasugbu, Calatagan, Taal—"

"Aicel, sa Lobo lang ang gusto ko," I said cutting her words off before I stepped out through the main exit of the building.

"Aicel, I'll be back on Monday morning. I don't want to be disturbed over the weekends, okay?"

I like this outfit more than the suit. Sobrang comfortable suotin.
