Well who would have thought? DOUBLE UPDAATE!! Btw this is about the pandemic in general so I think y'all r gonna need some tissues for this. Lastly, pls listen to the song while reading the poem. I have a feeling u guys will enjoy it more.

Hands we lost, eyes dimming in the light,

Happiness once glowed, faded in the fight;

Friends and family, all affected in this disaster,

We will miss more people than our hearts can register.

Distance apart, could be days or more,

Loneliness and misery, tainting our mind's core;

The noise of an ambulance, the only song I now know,

I fall asleep fearing, my heart had to bow.

People are lost but time will never stop,

We try finding our pieces which we know we tossed;

Careers are still building, our thoughts everchanging,

We constructed a world with the joy that was dwindling.

Clinging on to what we have, we learnt a price to pay,

Our feelings clashed like the waves by the bay;

Teaching ourselves to live without the hands we no longer hold,

We lead our lives thinking they are free from Death's cold.
