Searing pain

Why did you hurt me, so deeply to the core
   Scarring me, to never, leave me alone.
Down went my reputation, gone went my smile,
   Just like those fireworks, you blew, tonight.

I cried like a baby, searching for the lost mission,
  To hold you, care for u, with precision,
Yet! You slap me with your......
   Resolute, hard, decisions.

Did I not give love brother?
   Was I not enough?!
Your one and only sister,
    How could you? Call a mutt.

I have always loved
  To make you smile,
If only it wasn't from seeing me,
   Breaking my will and pride.

I showed you heaven,
    And brought you bright light,
Thank you for giving me hell,
    And setting me... ALIGHT.
