Hey guysss. So, I just realized that I don't usually write abt true love and its been seriously bothering me for a while. I just wanna say that I do write a lot abt heartbreaks but I do believe in love. I just can't relate to writing abt happy things much. I hope u guys like this poem.

I was taught to love the wrong people, embrace the cold,

    Never realized what warmth was, until you secured me in your hold;

I only saw the grey areas, trapped within its misery,

      But you showed me colours, solving my mysteries.

I wandered about in the dark, fighting my demons alone

     With your arrival, the angels embraced me as their own

Learned to live independently and in silence,

    You helped me create our wonderland with guidance.

When was the last time I smiled? I couldn't remember,

    But life with you was full of laughter in December;

We had a couple of fights, my vulnerability shown

      Yet, you were the first to heal my broken bones.

We had a balance, one which I was obsessed to achieve,

    You showed me a different perspective, to perceive,

I was okay with being on highs and lows

    As long as we struck our pain, with victorious blows.
