Chapter 2: A New But Old Challenge

It was a beautiful Monday morning. The smell of coffee made Danielle happy as she talked to Jaina just outside Barrett's trailer. The girls were planning to throw a party on Friday as a welcome back for Danielle. Minutes after, Danielle stared in a trance as she saw Stefania walking in their direction. She was wearing a black shirt and tight jeans that matched her heels. She's also wearing a dark brown coat that seemed so flowy as the air blew her hair at the same time. It was like a shampoo commercial.

"Uhh, Danielle, I think Stefania is making you drool," Barrett said laughing as she stepped out of her trailer approaching the blonde to teasingly push her jaw up as she seemed to drop it.

"I'm not drooling! And be quiet she might hear you!"

"Ciao! I'm just dropping by to get the script but I'm in Grey's today," the Italian said as she approached the girls though her eyes were not landing on Danielle.

"Hey, you should come on Friday. We'll be throwing a welcome back party for Danielle at her place," Jaina invited. Danielle noticed that Stefanie kept avoiding eye contact with her.

The brunette was kind of avoiding Danielle because of what happened in her house. She's not comfortable because she thought the blonde was not so happy with her presence. "I'm sorry I have plans," Stefania told Jaina and Barrett, still not looking at Danielle.

"Come on! Just drop by. Bring Jeff too!" Barrett said, convincing the brunette.

"Okay, but I'm not making a promise. I have to go now I'll see you later," Stefania answered but she's not sure if she really wanna be there. Maybe she could talk to Danielle about what happened during lunch in her house.

"Who's Jeff? She's been teasing me last time I thought she's single," Danielle said in an annoyed tone. Barrett and Jaina laughed and didn't tell the blonde that Jeff is Stefania's girl dog who she brought on set last week.

"Disappointed much?" Barrett asked. "And not Stefania please she's too nice for you," Jaina said as she's about to drink her coffee.

"Have you noticed that she's not looking at me the whole time? Or am I just paranoid?" the blonde asked while they were on their way to hair and make up. "Now that I think of it. Kind of. Yeah... maybe you should talk to her. You're not so nice last time we were at your place," Barrett said.

The blonde sighed at the thought of Stefania not liking her. She had this feeling that she just wanted to impress the Italian. She had no plans to get into her pants because she knew they could be friends but damn she's just so hot, she thought.

"How about you challenge yourself not to sleep with her," Barrett suggested. "Besides, you always love a challenge," she added. "Oh, and try not to fall for her too," Jaina said giggling. "Oh, shut up!" Danielle exclaimed.

Stefania woke up at 6am the next day. She fed Jeff after taking out for a walk. She's feeling nervous because she's doing her first scene with Danielle today.

Danielle arrived at the set at 8am wearing a white shirt and jeans. She went straight to hair and make up as they're starting early today. Five minutes later, she heard the door and saw Stefania in the mirror removing her sunglasses as she entered the trailer. She sighed because she knew the beauty was untouchable.

"Ciao!" Stefania greeted. "Hi, beautiful," Danielle answered. The brunette's nervousness only grew more as she saw how gorgeous the blonde was. "Stefania, I'm sorry about last time. My words came out wrong... or maybe my tone, I don't know... but I didn't mean anything by that," the blonde said, trying to apologize. "That you don't date?" Stefania asked with a cheeky smile on her face. "That... yeah," Danielle answered, laughing nervously.

"And cut!" Debbie Allen shouted. The crowd gave them a round of applause after their first scene. Danielle felt weird and satisfied because of the chemistry between her character and Stefania's.

"Damn your chemistry! Everyone can feel it. It's too good," Barrett said to Danielle and Stefania. "Yeah, I had goosebumps," Stefania said in an excited tone. "Well, you know I'm just that good," Danielle said confidently. The group continued with the conversation laughing with Danielle always joking around.

Stefania felt a relief after Danielle apologized today. She had fun in the set too. One thing she noticed was that there's a sexual tension between her and Danielle onscreen. She couldn't help but wonder if they're like that offscreen too so she wanted to test her theory at the party on Friday. The Italian haven't had any romantic or sexual partner for a year now and knowing Danielle's reputation maybe she could give it a try.

"Stefania!" The brunette looked around the parking lot to see who's calling her.

Even opening the trunk of the car could make Stefania sexy, Danielle thought to herself.

"Hey, Stefania," Danielle said, finally approaching the brunette. "Hi, bella," the Italian greeted. "You said you had plans on Friday is that because you didn't want to go to the party because you were mad at me?" Danielle asked nervously. "Not mad, bella. Just not comfortable because I felt you didn't like me," Stefania explained tucking Danielle's hair behind her ear. Danielle felt butterflies in her stomach. "So you're going to the party now that we're okay, right?"

Stefania couldn't help but stare at Danielle's lips. She just wanna grab her right there and kiss her passionately. She told herself she'd make a move during the party. "Si, bella. See you at the party," Stefania answered. "Si means yes?" Danielle confirming. "Si. Yes," Stefania said laughing as she mixed Italian and English sometimes.

"I'm just about to get dinner, do you wanna come?" Stefania invited the blonde. "Sure I'll drive behind you," Danielle said. She's now holding the car's door for Stefania. "See you in a bit," she added.
