Chapter 27: You're More Than Enough

Aly's POV

I woke up with a huge grin on my face. Who wouldn't? She looks like an angel sleeping next to me, hugging me. I don't want to ruin her beauty rest so I slowly removed her hand on my waist and jumped out of the bed.

I'm feeling better now, so its my turn to return the favor. Malakas pa din yung ulan sa labas and for sure suspended na ang klase. I'll cook banana pancakes nalang for breakfast. 6am pa lang naman so maliligo pala muna ako.

After ko maligo, tulog pa din si Missy. Napagod siguro sa pagaalaga sakin kagabi. Pinapalitan niya kasi yung towel sa noo ko tapos pinupunasan niya din ako. Galing talaga ng Dra. ko. Hahaha

Since hindi natuloy yung date namin kahapon, I'll make this day extra special. Babawi ako sa kanya.

Habang nagluluto ako ng pancakes, gumawa na rin ako ng cake mixture, I'll bake her one later. Lalagay ko muna sa ref to. Mukhang mamaya pa magigising si Missy so, nagpakulo na ko ng beef for lunch. Magluluto ako ng beef caldereta with gata. For sure magugustuhan niya yun. Excited na tuloy ako.

Okay na. Breakfast is ready! Okay na din yung beef. Na-bake ko na din yung cake pero si Missy tulog pa din. 'sigh' Mukhang pagod talaga siya sa pagaalaga sakin ah?

So I grabbed my guitar and 1, 2, 3..

"Sorry to wake you up, Missy. Pero lumalamig na kasi yung breakfast e. Hehe" I saw her smile. Cute niya pag bagong gising. "Breakfast in bed?" then I flashed my killer smile

"Thank you, wait lang. Toothbrush muna ko" sabay punta sa CR. "Wala pala akong dala" while scratching her eyes nagpout pa siya. Cuuute!

"I prepared your things na po. Nasa sink po"

"Thanks!" sabay pasok

"I'm done! What's for breakfast?" masiglang tanong niya "Wait? You prepared this? Okay ka na ba? Baka mabinat ka?!" napangiti naman ako

"No need to worry. Yes, I prepared this. And okay na po ako. Ang galing kaya ng doctora ko!" proud kong sabi then I kissed her cheek "Thank you! Ayan na bayad ko! Hahaha"

"Magaling ka na nga! Ang kulit mo na e" then she pinched my nose. Aray ha?

"Ouch!" sabi ko habang hawak ko yung ilong ko

"Sorry na. Kiss ko nalang!" nagpout naman siya. Yan naman ang gusto ko!

Kiniss niya nga ako. May bonus pa sa lips. Haha

"Sukli sa bayad mo kanina." nagsmile pa siya. Saya talaga! "Let's eat na! Ano ba to?"

"Open it" pagbukas niya ng tray "Tanaaaa! Banana Pancakes!"

"Wow! Sarap!"

Nagsubuan lang kami and konting kulitan. Muntik pa nga akong matapunan ng hot choco e, ang kulit kasi. Hahaha

After namin magbreakfast, I told her to take a bath na. Para maligpit ko na to. Nagpadeliver na din ako ng flowers for her.

Saktong dating ng bulaklak, narinig kong bumukas yung pinto ng room ko. Kaya inabangan ko na siya sa hagdan. Carrying a huge bear and a boquet of red and white roses.

Binili ko yung bear ahead of time pa. Tuesday pa ata yun. Nadaanan ko kasi sa mall kaya binili ko na agad. Buti nga di niya nakita kahapon nung dumating siya e.

I arranged the house kanina habang naliligo siya. Tinabi ko yung mga furnitures para malaki yung space sa sala. I even scattered some pillows sa floor para makahiga kami, may carpet naman kaya okay lang. Balak kong mag movie marathon since wala naman ibang pwedeng gawin. Nakaset up na din yung player. Nagluto nalang ako ng popcorn and nagpadeliver ng pizza and some finger foods since bawal sakin yung chips.

She looks surprised! Buti naman, nahirapan kaya ako. And good thing matagal siyang maligo kaya nakapag ayos pa ko.

"Para san to?" gulat na tanong niya

"For you! Did you like it?"

"Ofcourse! Actually, I love it. But what for?"

"For taking care of me. I told you, I'll make it up to you. Tsaka di natuloy yung date natin kahapon so, here you go." sabay abot ng gift ko

"You dont need to do this naman e. Still, Thank you!"

"It's my pleasure"

"Di ko alam kung pano ako babawi sayo, you never failed to amuse me! Super thank you!"

"You're more than enough, Missy!" then I kissed her. Hindi smack but a long passionate one. Di naman siya nagreklamo so okay lang siguro. I felt that she's smiling so I broke the kiss. "I love you." i whispered to her while looking straight into her eyes

"Thank you, di ko man masagot yan but SOON ENOUGH, Ly!"

"I'm willing to wait, even if it takes forever"

Di na ko choosy. Though di pa kami, sweet naman siya sakin. And we do things couples usually do. We hang out together, we take care of each other. And ofcourse, I can feel that we both love each other.

Eish! I've been stressing myself too much. Good thing we have a great professor in our psychotherapy class. Kahit papano nabawasan yung stress sa katawan ko. Hahaha!
