"Mine".
_______________________

Upon closing up the cafè, a few minutes only left before he could confidently shift the sign back to its closed state. Locking up all doors and having little to no work done, making it the end of his day, and be able to travel back home, hopefully able to eat the leftovers for the dinner that has usually been left in the fridge for him to eat. So wiping down the desk, and brewing a small cup of coffee for himself, expecting absolutely no one to come into the cafè at this hour..knowing it has been hectic getting out all the customers, but eventually, they all left peacefully on their own this time. So, he definitely deserved a small coffee for himself. Knowing that his 16 years of age shouldn't exactly drink coffee due to his age, he simply still couldn't help to slurp on the nice high caffeine drink that definitely kept him awake those 3 extra hours at night.

So barely a minute left before closing, two men eventually walked in, the bell notifying the young boy, that somebody has walked in.

"My apologies sir..but we're closing" he smiled softly, placing the broom in his hand to stand against the door frame before speaking again. "But that depends on your order" he chuckled looking at the two men one who just smirked as he looked up at the menu.

"Just..a large..cup of iced americano, and for this boy" he pointed beside him. "A green tea" he finished, letting Jeongin clock in the orders with a soft nod.

"Five dollars" he spoke as he turned his back around, grabbing two cups from the cup holder, not even daring to ask if it was to go, since he was closing down anyways. Hearing the sound of the coupon automatically printing out, confirmed they paid for their orders, as he went straight ahead to make the drink for the two men.

Not even bothering to write down any names, when he knew it was for only those two. He could feel stares on his back, so intense it made him shake a little. But it wasn't like he wasn't being nosy on the customers neither at times, so he had no right to find it bothering for them to stare.

After two minutes the cups were ready to go, as he placed them on the counter handing the men straws incase they rather drink it that way, instead of the other.

The boy beside the one who spoke, grabbed the green tea protectively ignoring the straw on the counter as he looked into Jeongin eyes.

"Mine" he muttered seriously, and before Jeongin could count to ten, the other man had turned the latter around, pushing him towards the door gently.

With them being his final, and definitely weird customers. Jeongin decided to wrap up his things and go home. Locking up the cafe in relief that he'd get to rest and eat. He couldn't lie that despite loving his job so, so, deeply, that he still could feel stressed and tired after a long day especially considering that today wasn't even his closing shift, it was one of his other coworkers, but they never showed up..so Jeongin waited while doing the work he wasn't supposed to do. Yet still did, cause no one else was working but him. Jane clocked out around dinner time, working a bit over her schedule just because she wanted to help the boy during the busy hours. Which he deeply appreciated.

So now that he was outside in the cold winter night, instead of inside a warm cafè with his favorite smells. He was now wandering around outside, dark gloomy sky and bad light pollution, making stars impossible to spot on the dark deep blue night sky.

Walking home from work was also one of his favorite things. How he enjoyed the time he could be in his own mind, enjoying the fresh air..yes it was usually very nice. But something about those minutes ago, the unsettling feeling of being stared at in the cafè was not a usual feeling, only from girls or old men that flirted with him by the counter. But he had no interest in a relationship, he wasn't striving after one..he just lived his life as if nothing but dreams mattered..yes maybe he was a bit blinded by them, but he definitely didn't mind that.
