As soon as they left the bathroom, Gibbs walked up to them.

"Ziva?" he asked pointedly.

"It's nothing Gibbs. I'm still recovering from the flu."

Ziva bit her lip.

Gibbs raised his eyebrows and turned wordlessly around.

"My door's open if you want to talk," he implied, walking slowly away.

Tony stayed next to her.

"You don't have the flu," he probed.

"A small pink lie," Ziva admitted, holding her head.

"What he does not, will not hurt him."

"White lie, Ziver, not a pink one," Tony automatically corrected.

"Whatever," Ziva fired back, and started to walk back to her desk where a concerned Bishop and McGee sat waiting.

"Any explanations?" McGee asked.

"No," Ziva shook her head.

Bishop let out an aggravated sigh.

It wasn't fair.

Why did Ziva get all the attention?

Since Ziva arrived, no one had even paid any attention to her.

It was almost like they had forgotten about her.

Although she hated to admit it, Bishop felt left out.

What was Ziva doing here, replacing her?

Bishop looked on wordlessly as Ziva took a ginormous chocolate bar from her desk drawer and inhaled the entire bar.

Bishop blinked.

"What the heck has gotten into her? Why did she come back and steal my job?" Bishop thought, giving Ziva a disgusted look.

It wasn't fair.

Ziva wasn't the only one who'd had a hard past.

Bishop closed her eyes.

Nobody knew about hers, and she liked it like that.

They would never figure out her secrets.

And it was for the best that it stayed like that.
