"Crush kita." I closed my eyes. I waited for his response but that did not come. I saw him looking at his side. Wow, even his side profile looks magnificent. But his ears are all red.

I almost pulled my hair when I realized what I just said. Crush?! Anong crush?! What am I? A high schooler?! Oh, good Lord.

"No, I-I mean...." God, how do I explain this? "It's not like that. I mean, this is my first time doing this because before boys just came and flock on my feet and the only thing I have to do is to choose."

Wait? Parang mali? Kasi parang ang pangit ng image ko sa part na 'yon? Hindi pa rin siya nagsalita kaya nagpatuloy na lang ako.

"It's not like I'm a play girl. What I'm trying to say is that I have no idea on how to say this. Kasi si Dylan pa lang naman ang naging serious boyfriend ko and he's the one who confessed first."

"Sinabi pa talaga." Dinig kong sabi niya.

"Ah n-no! No!" Napatayo ako. "I didn't mean to—" And great. We are now this close from each other. He is finally looking at my direction and his ears are still red. I guess I am too.

Wala na bang mas e-epic pa rito? I swear not to come in front of his face for the next days after this.

"Bringing up your exes, huh?" he said.

"It's not like that." I shake my head. "Oh dear Lord, help me." I uttered under my breath.

I was shocked when he blocked one of my sides with his arm, making me trapped. I gasp for air because I can't breath. My fucking heart keep on beating like there's no tomorrow.

"Then what is it like?" he asked.

I sighed heavily.

"I like you." There. I said it. It's a relief but there is still nervousness because I can't figure out what's going on in his mind now.

"But I'm not saying that you should like me back okay? I'm saying this because I hate regrets. It's all or nothing. And I will not be mad if you don't feel the same way. I just don't like hiding things like this like we are having hide and seek you know?" I carefully choose my words to explain. He is just looking and listening to me pero hindi siya nagsasalita.

We just stared on each other until his phone rang. Tumuwid siya ng tayo at tumalikod para sagutin iyong tawag.

"Hello? Ma," it's his mom pala. I waited habang magkausap sila. "Alright." He said and ended the call.

"She's looking for me. Let's go."

My jaw dropped. Did he just... Did he just left? After? My? Confession? And I can't let my pride got hurt just like that! Sumunod agad ako sa kanya. Lumapit si Tita Karen kay Karus tapos ay nagtatakang tumingin sa akin.

"Are you two together?" she asked.

"No, Tita. We just met on the way here." I proudly denied it. "I'll go to our table lang po. Excuse me po." I excuse myself because of the embarrassment I'm still feeling inside.

I drank the wine straight as soon as I sat down back on my seat beside Aly.

"What happened?" Aly asked.

"Nothing."

"Really.. with that look on your face."
