"Don't speak a word! I'm not a stalker!" bungad ko kay Karus nang sabay kaming lumabas ng mga rooms namin.

He looked weirded out at first but suddenly turned mocking. He is even smirking right now.

"Sure, babe."

My eyes widened.

"W-What did you s-say?!" I almost slapped my face for stuttering. What the freak. I'm nervous but I'm begging myself not to look nervous at the front of him!

He did not answer but still had his mocking face. I did not wait for him anymore and I went downstairs for breakfast. Nakasalubong ko pa si Dessa kaya sabay kaming bumababa.

"Where's Karus?" she asked.

"Pababa na rin." I replied shortly, a little bit confused on why she is asking about him.

"He should've used one of the guest rooms on our side." She said pertaining to the right side of the second floor where her and dad's and tita antonia's rooms are located.

My forehead creased.

"What issue do you have na naman ba? My gosh, it's too early for a fight oh." I said while trying myself to be calm and maintain the good aura I got when I woke up.

She just shrugged and fastened her pace para mas mauna siyang makababa kaysa sa akin. Baliw talaga.

Nang makarating ako sa dining room ay nakababa na rin si Karus so parang sabay lang din kaming dumating. We went on our seats and I began getting some bacon and egg. Nakita ko agad iyong mga magazines and brochures na pinapakita ni Tita Antonia kay Daddy. It's from Conrad siguro because it's all about different themes of parties.

"What do you think of this one, hon? Black and silver? Seems good right?" Tita Antonia handed one of the magazines to Daddy.

"It's good. Is this what you want?"

"Well, yes. Pero kung may iba kang prefer, we can adjust to that."

"No. This one is good. If this is what you want then we'll go for it."

"Really?"

"Of course, hon."

"Thank you, hon!" Tita Antonia held Daddy's hand and smiled at him. Dad smiled back at her.

I tried my very best no to ngiwi while watching them. But I just couldn't hide the fact that Daddy's smile is a lot more different in the way he smiled before, noong buhay pa si Mommy. Sure he loves Tita Antonia but his love for my Mom is once in a lifetime I guess. I think that's what they call your greatest love.

"Make sure you dress up okay?" she said.

"Of course, My. I'm happy for the both of you." Dessa said joyfully.

Luh, happy ka? I rolled my eyes pero patago. But Karus seems like to notice it dahil katabi ko lang naman siya. I mouthed a 'what'. Umiling lang siya at nag-focus na lang ulit sa hotdog niya.

"You also Naiah. Dress well alright?"

Napatingin ako kay Tita Antonia tapos kay Daddy naman na nakatingin sa akin na parang pinagsasabihan na agad ako to act with respect.

"Yes, Tita." Sabi ko na lang para hindi na humaba pa ang usapan.

"I hope no one's gonna ditch again." Ani Daddy na nagpaparinig sa akin.

"Of course, Dad."

"Make sure of it." Tumango na lang ako. "And Karus,"

"Yes Tito?"
