So, when Zane died Kai was the one to give a speech about him. One of the only times he was serious like that. And I could just write it off as him being close to Zane- and sad as fuck- but nope!
Now I have a head canon; Kai can get very dark at times if he feels like it. He seems kinda numb to death, right?Cause like- when Zane was about to die, I believe he was the one to ask "What is the doing?!" before it happened. At first I thought he'd be madder at Zane for doing this, but he wasn't. He just stayed quiet. Same thing when Nya died. He didn't say a word. And when he was about to cry, he put his head in his hands. Almost like...he's scared to cry? Or at the least he doesn't want to cry in front of others.
Also the whole Zane thing is just oppositeshipping at it's finest and I fuckin love it-
