Theory - Garmadon is More Snake than Oni

(going off of memory from before the reboot and s10)

In s10 when one of the Oni asked why Garmadon hadn't conquered, that got me thinking. I feel like he's not entirely Oni. In his backstory, he was bitten by a snake and that's when his eyes turned red; as opposed to the Oni's purple eyes. In my opinion, he turned black because he embraced his Oni side. Plus, we know his father was the First Spinjitzu Master, so i don't think he was an Oni, making Garmadon both part Oni, and a partial hypocrite. He most likely had to let the evil take over for him to be considered a full Oni. So I think the reason why he hasn't taken over the realm yet is because his powers are weaker than the Oni; being fused with his own personal rage and the Great Devourer. And because he does feel at least a little guilty from what happened to Lloyd.

Now, what does this mean for Lloyd? Well, it's clear he won't be evil any time soon so we won't have much to worry about there. But I don't think he's figured out that his father was just like him, until he deliberately turned bad, and is still scared to become like him because of it.
