You jump up awake to the sound of Taylor screaming. You look over to see Taylor gasping for air and she is breathing heavily.
"Hey Tay look at me." You said.
You turned on the light lap next to you on the night stand and turned back to see Taylor still breathing heavily.
"Taylor look at me." You said again and Taylor looks into your eyes.
"Take slow deep breaths." You said calmly.
Taylor is still struggling to breathe,
"Follow me. See take a deep breath." You said and inhaled
Taylor inhaled and you breathed out. Taylor breathed out. "Breathe in." You said and took another deep breath.
Taylor inhaled again, you breathed out, "And out." You said. Taylor breathed out and her breathing is back to normal.
"Thanks Y/N." Taylor said.
"Did you have a nightmare?" You asked
"Yeah." Taylor said.
"You want to talk about it?" You asked.
"I didn't even remember half of it now. Can we just go back to sleep?" Taylor asked.
"Sure." You said and turned off the light.
Taylor moved closer to you and put her head on your shoulder.
"I love you." Taylor said.
"I love you too." You said and drifted back to sleep.
