Lucas and I pulled up to a large metal warehouse with dozens of black cars surrounding it. I heard Lucas get out if the car making me snap my eyes away to follow.

"What was he doing here?" I asked as I began to walk towards the entrance until he grabbed my elbow making me frown. "Take this." Lucas said handing me a black gun making me pull away.

"What? No-" I began to protest until he cut me off. "You need it for protection. We don't know these people who took Ethan plan. Use it under any emergency. Who knows you may not need to?" He said making me look down at it in his hand hesitantly.

"Fine." I gave in grabbing it from him slightly shocked at the weight. "Just aim and shoot." Lucas said as we began to walk making me shove it in my coat pocket. "I won't have to." I replied before we walked inside to see dozens of men dressed in black examining an area they were crowding.

There were bags and boxes of white drugs on tables as if they were ready to be shipped making me frown. I continued to follow Lucas towards the crowd of men making them notice me and stare.

"Luc, what is she doing here?" A man asked walking up to him making me look away. "She deserves to be here. And she may be able to help us find him." He answered making him scoff looking at me up and down.

"How? Does she know where he is?" He asked making another man intervene. "Stop, Sean. Lucas and Amelia know him best. She could help." The older man said making Sean roll his eyes. "We are so sorry to hear about all the things happening to you and Ethan. I wish I could say it was all unexpected behavior." The older man smiled weakly making me nod as my anxiety and worry only grew.

"Seamus." He introduced making me smile weakly grabbing his extended hand. "It's great to finally meet you. The woman who is to run everything beside Ethan. It's truly an honor I just wished it were under different circumstances." He smiled making me continue smiling at I grabbed Lucas' hand pulling softly trying to leave this conversation to help Ethan.

"It was nice meeting you too." I said through a poor fake smile as Lucas excused us and continued walking to what I can only assume is the crime scene. As we grew closer every one of the men moved to the side creating a tunnel for Lucas and me to walk towards what they were all discussing about.

My lips parted as I saw bloody footprints and pool of blood. I also saw what looked like a struggle from the dust on the floor. "I think I'm going to be sick." I whispered covering my mouth with the hand that was in Lucas'. "We don't know if that is even Ethan's blood yet." Lucas said trying to ease my worry as thoughts flooded my mind of every bad possible scenario.

"That's a lot of blood, Lucas." I breathed as I continued to look around trying to make sense of what had happened. I noticed two different shoe prints in the dust and blood until they just stop. I carefully started walking trying not to mess up the prints when I saw tire tracks peeling out.

"Ethan's car is still here." I stated mostly to myself looking away towards Lucas. "If they were trying to kill him why would they kidnap him? What would've he have been doing before everything happened?" I asked him ignoring everyone's confused stares and he answered.

"Packing up the last shipment of the week and loading it into the van." He said making me look at him again and frown. "What van?" I asked motioning to the empty warehouse of only packaged drugs.

They all filled with realization making me walk back up to Lucas. "They need him for something. If they did hurt him, they would have left him to die not take him with them. If we figure it out, we can save him before they have no reason for him anymore." I explained hating how this made sense to me and this was actually our life.
