I woke up the next morning tired as always. I look into the mirror and see my messy red hair staring back at me. Dad said something about a live PSA about the rebellion so I had to look nice. I got out my straightener and curling iron. I run a brush through my knotted locks and spray some heat protectant.
As I wait for my straightener to heat up my mom comes into my room. "I hear you went out last night." She says. I shrug. She shakes her head but once again drops it. "Your dress in the closet. It's the blue one all the way to the left. She gives me a nod and walks out as suddenly as she walked in.
I walk over to my closet and see the new dress hanging in my closet. It was sparkly and had flowers. It was pretty. Although I'm not really a dress person. Never have been, never will.
I did my makeup and hair. I put little blue flowers in my hair to match the ones on the dress. I have to admit. I looked nice. But it wasn't really comfortable.
