Party No More

ROSÉ

It's my party. Let's say my 26th birthday.
Just a fun and simple pool party with my closest friends.

I'm at the veranda, looking at my guests and I will be going down in a bit after making out with the love of my life, Jisoo Kim.

I love the sight right now.

I have my friends back in college.
I can see Seulgi, Bam, Jimin, Sana, Hanbin and Jennie.

Also some childhood friends and classmates in high school are present. And some friends that I really don't know. Damn.

Then there are my colleagues at work Tzuyu, V and Lisa.

I am happy that they are enjoying and drinking a lot. This is the purpose of my party.
To get them all drunk! So, I don't know if I'll really be happy of the outcome.

"Babe, I can smell trouble. You invited the two virgins." Jisoo said.

"Baby, they're not virgins anymore. I guess they already fucked so many times. Jennie liked her. Oh! Let me rephrase, Jennie still likes her." I said.

"But Lisa is in a relationship now, right?" Jisoo asked.

"No. She's a coward. Or maybe she still likes Jennie Kim after all? I don't think she has someone in her life right now." I said.

"Baby, look at them! They're both drunk already. You think they are aware that each other is here?" Jisoo asked.

"Of course! They're just playing blind and bitter. I noticed they're glancing at each other from time to time. Let's make a bet who's going to approach first? Or maybe I'm wrong." I said.

After a while, Jisoo tapped my back.

"Rosé, I think this not a good idea. Shit! Look at them. God! Jennie's approaching her ex." Jisoo said and my eyes rushed to the two.

"Do you know that they never dated officially? Oh, fuck. Maybe we should get down, babe. This is not good." I dragged Jisoo downstairs since Jennie is already coming near Lisa.

"What the fuck is your problem?" Lisa's voice is raising already. She's surprised of what Jennie did to her.

"My problem? You just grabbed me just like that. Pervert!" Jennie said after she intentionally spilled the wine from her glass at Lisa's shirt.

"Excuse me? Did you ever listen to me, Jennie Kim? Can I explain? I didn't recognize you." Lisa said and walked out. She rushed to her car and went away.

Jennie was pulled by her sister Irene. Jisoo called her right away and she dragged her Jen out of my house too.

"What a scene!" Jisoo couldn't believe what she just saw.

"I know."
I said and sighed.

So, yes, they are my friends.

Lisa.
She came from a middle class family but works so hard as a book cover artist. A smarty ass. Sometimes, she writes her own book too. She is kind and just a quiet type of person. She is sensible in every way. As always, not aware of how good-looking she is and never flirted back with those who show affection towards her.
Because she fell in love once.
With Jennie Kim, her boss.

Jennie.
The boss. Filthy rich woman. She has her own publishing company. A well-known author but a cold-hearted one. Rude. Always strict. Demanding. Harsh. Savage.
But I really know who Jennie Kim really is.
She is my best friend.
She is really a good person. Let's say, what happened to her and her family just made her reach the boiling point that's why she's bitchy.
She fell in love too. But never chose her words and she let Lisa slip away.

I started with this book in Decmeber 2020 and decided to unpublish it after writing so many parts already because readers kept pressuring me for updates. Guys, please learn to wait. I don't want to read comments of you being so selfish.
