The first thing I saw when I woke up was Hollis. She was still sleeping and had her head on my chest and her arms wrapped around me. I couldn't help but feel very happy by this.
She wasn't my girlfriend yet but I really wanted to ask soon. Although, I wasn't sure how she would react since we had only been all coupley since yesterday.
I was still looking at her and admiring all her features when her eyes slowly opened. She looked around and noticed me.
"Good morning." Hollis said with a small smile and yawn.
I smiled, "Morning Holls."
Hollis sat up and asked, " How'd you sleep last night?"
"Great. Your bed's pretty comfy." I said sitting up.
"Yeah." She replied, pulling her hair behind her ears.
She got up and walked toward her dresser and pulled out a pair of shorts and green shirt.
"Give me a sec." She said and walked into the bathroom.
She shut the door and I was left sitting in the bed.
"Holliss." I said.
"Yes Owen." She replied through the door.
"I don't want to wait til Friday for the date." I said.
She walked out of the bathroom with a new outfit on.
"Huh?" She asked confused.
"Want to switch it up. Tonight maybe?" I asked her.
She smiled, "That sounds great, sure."
"Awesome." I said with a grin.
"I think I'll get going then, start planning this date and all that." I said to her.
"Okay, cant wait to see you then." Hollis said, wrapping her arms around my neck.
"And I cant wait to see you beautiful." I told her.
She smiled, "Call me when you get the details."
"I will." I replied with a smile.
I kissed her and then pulled away.
"Goodbye sunshine." I said walking out of her room.
"Bye." She said.

I walked into my house and saw my mom and Esme sitting at the kitchen table, drinking coffee.
"Hey O. How was your night?" My mom asked.
"It was good. Holli and I ordered pizza and watched Gilmore Girls." I responded.
Esme laughed, "Of course she made you watch that."
My mom got up and walked toward the kitchen counter. She grabbed the coffee pot and poured another cup for herself.
"Well I better get going." Esme said getting up.
She walked toward the sink and put her mug in.
"Well okay, it was great hanging out again Em." My mom said standing up.
"Yeah for sure, we'll have to get together again soon." Esme responded, walking toward the door.
"I'll text you." My mom replied.
Esme nodded, "Bye Bianca."
My mom closed the door and sat right back down at her seat.
Then out of nowhere she said, "What's up with you and Hollis?"
