It was their first night as a family of three in their home. JJ walked into the nursery at three o'clock in the morning to find her wife asleep on the cream rug. JJ walked over kneeling beside her wife.

"Baby, Em what are you doing?"

"Sleeping"

"Why are you on the floor honey?"

Emily sat up with JJ's help and said " I didn't want to leave her." JJ nearly melted at this.

"Honey we have the bassinet in our room."

"We do?"

"We do."

"But she's comfy."

"She will wake up to be fed and when she does we will move her."

"Mmm kay" Emily sleepily leaned into her wife.

"Baby go to bed."

"Nope. Not leaving Grace."

"Honey I'll bring her. Go to our bed and sleep."

"But you'll wake her."

"I got Mommy super powers trust me.

Emily sleepily walked in their bedroom. JJ gently picked up Grace carrying her into the room. Taking the bassinet with one hand she wheeled it beside Emily. She placed Grace down and watched as Emily's hand went to gently lay on their daughters tummy. JJ gently went and laid behind her wife placing kisses on her spine. "I love you Emily."
