I come over to him.
"What? How?"I ask
"He went to another village and a merchant stabbed him until he dusted."He says

I sink to my knees, sobbing. I feel him pinch my cheeks from behind.
"But I know how to make it all better."He says
"How?"I whimper
"Very simple. Open those eyes of yours."He says
I open my eyes. He has a box now in his hand. He opens the box to show a ring.
"You marry me. What do you say?"He asks
"Are you out of your mind? NO! I just lost my brother for heaven's sake! I need time to grieve!"I snap
"You shouldn't grieve for someone that wasn't completely family. He was only a half sibling."He says
"How could you say that? You know how I felt about him! He is my brother no matter what you think or what genetics say! The answer is no!"I tell him
"Your emotional, I get it. You're not being logical, I understand. You can't think right now. But please....Just think about it."He says, shoving the box with the ring into my hands
Then he leaves.
So many emotions were building up in me. I don't know what to do. Right now, I just cried. Hours later, Suave comes into my room.
"Oh dear! Encre! What is wrong?"He asks, running over to hug me
"My brother.....Died........Tache is gone. I couldn't protect him like he did for me...."I say, my voice shaking
"I am so sorry for your loss. I'd consider it ours because Tache was such a lovely friend. But nothing hits harder than a loss of a sibling, the emotions between the loss of friend and of fam are different. Maybe getting some space or time on your own will help. Chris seems to be an annoyance lately."He says
"But what about the kids? Shino-"I begin
"Will understand. And you have an excuse, tonight is a Blood Moon. It would be best for you to get out before it comes."He says
"Thank you, Suave."I say
He hugs me.
"Just stay safe."He says
I nod. He leaves.
I start packing some things to bring with me. A spellbook, my journal, a tent, clothes, food, the cloak, etc. Once done packing, I leapt out the window. I quickly got out of the village and into the forest. I ran until I couldn't run anymore. I look around carefully. I am in a field. No, too open. I could be spotted and attacked. I keep going. I see the moon start to rise with its red color. I run through another forest. The trees get wider and bigger. I find a spot where the trees kinda merge, creating a cave-like area. I think this will be good. It is hidden by bushes excellently. I start setting things up when I hear a noise. Plus I get this feeling that someone is behind me. Already?
