Encre's POV months later
I hear running footsteps and a quick knock at the door. I open it to see a very hyper Shino in the doorway. She smiles and hugs a doll in her arms tightly.
"Mr. Encre, I passed!"She cheers
"Passed what?"I ask
"A test in my Social class! I passed! I'm a match maker my teacher says!"She tells me
She'd do way better than Cupid. She's so adorable and happy!
"Great job, Shino!"I say
I see Geno come over while she shuts the door.
"Mama Geno! I'm a match maker!"She says
Concern covered Geno's face.
"Sweetie, are you sure about that?"He says
"Yes! I passed a test and the teacher told me so! It's better than failing and being called a manipulator, toxic person or bully! I get to make the world a more loving place! Isn't that a good thing?"She explains
He looks at me.
"I can't deal with her innocence and kindness. I can't say no."He whispers
He looks at her and hugs her.
"I am so proud of you, sweetie!"He says
She smiles.
"So, may I do an interview of you and Daddy? I have a project on what love or social bonds are in my life. That starts with family."She says
"Of course sweetie."Geno says
"Yay! I will go get everything set up! Stay here!"She says
She runs off to her room. Reaper comes in and smiles.
"I think I'm gonna go for a stroll."He says
"Nope. We have an interview to do."Geno says, dragging him to the couch
"What?"He says
"It's for Shino. She has a love project."Geno claims
"Awww!"He says
Shino comes in with a notepad and a pencil. They begin the interview. I head to the other room. I sat with Poussière and Azure, reading a book. Poussière seems quite grumpy. Azure is sitting beside him, reading as well.
"What's wrong, Poussière?"I ask
"Nothing."He says, trying to pull Azure into his lap
Azure doesn't budge.
"I gotta grade these papers. I just taught some protection strategies and wanna make sure they actually know it."Azure says
