Gumball's pov
Before the movie ended Marshall excused himself to the restroom. Fionna rests her head on my shoulder and I start to blush. Do I have feelings for this girl? I ask myself. The more I thought about that question the more I knew that "yes" was not the answer. When the movie ended Fionna grabbed my hand and quickly took me with her to the lobby. She confessed her crush on me and was starting to lean in when I stopped her. "what is it? Don't you like me?" She asked her eyes were glassy, like she wanted to cry. I didn't want to embarrass her but I needed to tell her the truth.
"look I like you as a friend and there's kinda someone else that I like."
"who?" She asked. I motion for her to come towards me and was about to whisper in her ear when Marshall comes running towards us.
