You rang the doorbell, then stuffed your hands in your pockets as you waited at the door.

Jon swung the door open, smiling kindly at you.

"Hey!" He said, letting you in.

"Hey Jon," You grinned, walking inside. "Hey Jeff," You spotted him sitting on the couch, his feet kicked up in front of him.

"Hey Y/N," He didn't look up from his phone.

"What's going on?" You jumped on the couch, sitting next to him.

"Not much, how are you?" He finally looked up at you to talk to you.

"I'm doing okay, how are you?"

"Busy," He sighed. "Working on music,"

"Ooh," You gasped. "That's super fun,"

"Yeah, it's taking up a lot of my time though," He chuckled.

"Want anything to drink, Y/N?" Jon called from the kitchen.

"Water's fine," You replied.

The three of you had met up at Jeff's house just to hang out. You did this often, just to chill out and talk. Though sometimes it felt like a shared house, since you often helped yourselves to anything, and Jeff didn't mind.

"Can we hear something? Or is it classified," You crossed your legs.

"I'd say it's classified at the moment, but you'll get to hear it eventually,"

Jon came to the lounge room holding three glasses of water.

"Do you guys want to watch a movie or something?" Jeff asked, switching on the TV.

"Yeah, sure," Jon sat down next to you.

The three of you quickly decided on a movie and watched it for at least an hour, until you noticed it got oddly dark for 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

"Hold on, give me a sec," You stood up slowly, walking towards the window.

"Should we pause it?" Jon asked you.

"No, don't worry about it," You told them, opening the blinds.

"Woah," You said finally, spotting the dark, almost black clouds forming in the sky.

Both Jeff and Jon looked outside, Jeff pausing the movie anyway.

"Holy shit, it's so dark out there," They both got up to have a look.

"Wait, let's go outside," Jon suggested, opening the door to the backyard. You had a funny feeling something wasn't right.

Instead of going outside, you looked out the front window, opening those blinds too.

"Uh, guys," You said, your forehead creasing with confusion and worry.

"What?" Jon looked at you.

"The neighbours are moving their cars. Either that or they're leaving," Your heart thumped in your chest.

"Wait Jeff turn on the news," Jon said to Jeff.

He did what Jon said, and picked up the remote to turn on the news.

Jon stood next to you, looking out of the window.

"It looks bad out there," That sentence worried you even more.
