LISTEN UP! If you received my message earlier today it speaks of how much you're going to hate me. BUT FIRST! Let me tell you one IMPORTANT THING: THIS IS NOT THE LAST CHAPTER OF THE STORY. Keeping that in mind, I hope I did this chapter justice.

*George's POV*

"Everything set up?" I asked Lupin as I approached him and Kingsley.

"Yes, but it would be nice if you could find a few people to stand guard up here," Kingsley commented.

"We're on it," Fred nodded beside me.

"Is that all?" I turned to Lupin as Kingsley continued walking.

"Everything's fine, I'm sure there's a post you two can take."

I nodded as Fred looked at his arm slightly, I noticed he was wearing a gold band. We walked down the stairs of the astronomy tower to find a few people to inform that Kingsley wanted them up there.

"So that band, does it have anything to do with Freya's?" I asked curiously.

"Check your pocket before you turn into a raging, jealous oaf," Fred chuckled slightly. I reached into my jeans pocket and felt something metallic, I pulled out an identical band.

"She's going to be alright...right?"

"Freya fought against Lee perfectly well, and incapacitated a death eater on her own, she's going to be fine."

The doubt I was biting back still fueled my anxiety, I didn't want to find Freya injured or even worse; I needed to protect her. I promised her, and I would never forgive myself if something happened to her. I looked at the metallic band, waiting for it to jump to life and give me some comfort but...it continued to burn.

That's when a sound like lightning striking sounded around us, I glanced at Fred and saw him running towards the nearest window. I watched in horror as the barrier that was protecting us began disintegrating.

*Freya's POV*

The sky looked as if it were breaking, the cracks and shattering of the spells casted around the castle shattered completely and the death eaters who had been standing on the other side of the bridge, began to inch forward.

"Wands out everyone," Seamus muttered as he took a tentative step back.

"The explosives, they'll work won't they?" I asked, panic entering my voice I tried to hold back.

Seamus was quiet, I hadn't known him for too long but I knew that if anyone got quiet in response to a major question it was because the answer was not too favorable. I ran forward, dodging Seamus' arms as he tried to stop me, I ran up beside Neville and looked at the dark shadows approaching.

"Neville, we should go right now. We can set off the explosives, just come on. Let's go-"

That's when I realized who the man who was leading the group was, his pirate outfit was unmistakable, Scabior stood there looking at us curiously. His eyes paused on my face and it looked like he recognized me as his scowl turned into a grin. "Why...if it isn't the girlie from the woods, I thought you had disappeared, I was beginning to miss you gorgeous," his voice was soft as his eyes filled with curiosity and amusement.

"Neville, can we go back now? I don't want to be over here," I whispered as I pulled on his shirt.

"Don't be scared...Freya, was it? I don't bite....well, not as bad as Fenrir does that is, you remember that bloke right? The one you stunned," that trademark grin covered his face as he looked me over in the low lighting of the night. Chills ran down my spine, and I fumbled with the coil around my wrist. I slapped it and cursed at it, where were they?! I whimpered as Scabior let out a low laugh.
