CHAPTER SEVEN
The converted space transport glided over the Royal Victoria Docks. In the distance they saw the Pendragon's second Chinook helicopter, eight cables attached to eight of the O2's supporting struts. It looked like a limp octopus after a night out on the town.
"How are they going to lift that?" asked Lee.
"Can you see those crates lying open on the ground, they contained lighter than air aerosol compound, they must have sprayed the whole building," said Alf.
"Nah," said Sid, "that's a bluff surely. Lighter than air aerosol compound doesn't exist."
As if they had heard Sid's remark the nefarious owners of the chopper dropped all eight cables and started to fly off in the direction of CanaryWharf.
"We can go faster than them we have interstellar drive. Hurry up Sid, you are flying like a snail," goaded Arthur.
"Snails don't fly," retorted Sid.
"Well, a flying snail."
"They don't exist. Besides, do you want our interstellar drive to cause a sonic boom that flattens half of London?"
