Trent's POV

(Flashback)

"I can't believe that my cassanova friend is doing all these shts" Neil blurted

I just smirk and continue preparing the place. 

"Sigurado ka na ba dito Trent?" kulit pa ni Neil sa akin

Umayos ako ng tayo at humarap sa kanya. "Oo naman"

"Marriage is a big thing, bro" he seriously said

"I know" I widely smiled at him "And I can't imagine my future without her. Nic is my everything, Neil. She's the light in the darkest part of my life"

"Malala ka na, Trent. You're smiling like an idiot" pumalatak pa siya at tinuloy na ang pinapagawa ko sa kanya.

We spent hours of fixing the place.

A contented smile formed my mouth as I look at the romantic view that we made. 

We set a romantic dinner at the seashore. There's a tent decorated with white and red roses. The table for two in the middle was covered with silk red cloth and there are scented candles in different heights. A champaigne in an ice bucket. Steak ready to be served at the side. There's a cake for dessert and a bouquet of red roses at the top of her seat. A guitar for my serenade and an engagement ring in my pocket. Everything is set for this special night of my life.

Tonight I want to take our relationship to a higher level. I want to offer her my name and all that I got. I've never been this sure my entire life but tonight. I know that I will love only her for the rest of my life and she's the half I've been looking for. 

"Thanks, bro" malapad ang ngiting sabi ko kay Neil

"Best man ako ha!" at nag-fist bump kami

"Oo naman! Sino pa ba ang bestfriend ko" tumatawang sabi ko

"Si Troy?" natatawang sabi niya

"Nah, baka ma-late lang 'yung gagong 'yun sa kasal ko" natatawang biro ko

"Si Eric?" banat pa niya

"Baka unahan pa ako nun sa pagkuha ng kamay ng bride" natatawang sagot ko

"Ah, no choice ka kaya ako ang best man?" tinaasan niya pa ako ng isang kilay
