Dean's POV:
"What is taking him so long?" The teacher said.
"Do you want me to go to the bathroom to see if he's there?" I offered.
"That would be very nice of you, Dean."
I then stood up and headed towards the bathroom.
~skip to bathroom~
As I walked into the bathroom, I saw the boy sitting on the floor, with red, puffy eyes. He's been crying...
"Hey... are you okay?" I asked
"I-I" he tried to form words, but it wasn't working.
"Hey...it's okay..." I said while going towards him.
I sat next to him and cuddled him. I looked down at him and he said...
"D-Dean?"
"Yes, baby boy?"
"W-What are you doing here?" He asked.
"Well-" I started.
I look down to see red marks on the boys arm and a blade on the floor.
That's what he was picking up! I thought to myself.
"Wh-What are doing? Why are you c-cutting yourself?" I stuttered.
"I-um... I need to go..." He quickly said and ran out of the bathroom.
So many questions were running in my head like,
Why was he crying?
Is he cutting?
Why is he cutting?
Why did he run away?
Wait-
How does he know my name?
I then left the bathroom and headed back to class and sitting next to the boy. I kept looking at him, but he didn't seem to look at me back. I was snapped out of my thoughts when he said
"Miss can I move please... I can't really see from here."
"Yes, of course." The teacher replied.
Shit! I thought.
Was I making him uncomfortable?
He packed all of his things and moved. I couldn't stop staring at him. Around ten minutes later, the bell rang. I waited till the boy walked to door, so I could walk him to his next class.
He walked past me and went to the door, before he could leave I grabbed his arm causing him to flinch. I looked at him in confusion.
"Hey um... what do you have next?" I asked
"U-um..." He said "P-P.E..."
"Oh same, I could walk you there if you want." I said giving a warm smile.
"Oh u-um... sure." He replied while weakly smiling.
We started walking down the hallway to P.E.
