*Juliet's pov*

I don't know if the tears streaming down my face were for happiness or sadness.

"Please don't cry." Hayes comforted.

"I really don't know why I'm crying though." I laughed as I let the final tear come down my cheek. It sounded stupid but it was true.

"I'm sad they're leaving too, but they're not leaving forever." Hayes said, and I nodded. He was right. I could always visit both of them.

"I'm sorry." I said, wiping the wetness from my cheeks away.

"You don't have to be." He smiled as we continued to eat our meals.

Maybe I was sad because Nash or Cam wasn't the first to tell me.

We finished our dinner, ended up getting dessert, and we walked to the subway.

We sat down and he intertwined his fingers with mine.

He didn't have to say anything, he already knew what I was feeling, even though I didn't.

The train stopped and we walked out, as we walked to my apartment.

We stopped at the door and I leaned my head back against the wall.

"I'm sorry." He apologized.

"Don't be." I smiled.

"I really am. Are you mad?" He asked.

"Not really, more hurt.." I said.

He leaned in and wrapped his arms around my small body, squeezing me tightly.

It was like he knew how to glue together the broken pieces.

I shouldn't be this upset, either.

I hugged him back, and sighed.

"Look, I'm fine. I'm promise." I said.

He kissed my cheek.

"Really?" He asked, and I nodded.

I unlocked the front door and there stood my mother, and she was giving me a hug.

The memories I chose to forget came back, and all the hatred I felt about her.

"Juliet! I'm so happy to see you." She said.

Thank god Hayes was still behind me.

"Can Hayes spend the night?" I asked, and my mom nodded.

"Of course. I don't want to be a grandmother yet, though." She said. I laughed a little.

"I promise that won't happen until a while." I said and we both walked to my room.

I shut the door behind me and slid my back down it.

You know, that depressing slide-down-the-door-because-you-hate-everything slide?

Hayes sat in front of me and grabbed my hands.

"You have to tell her about your dad." He said.

"I can't.." I said, letting my head fall in my hands.

"I'll be there if you need me to." He said.

"Promise?"

"Promise."

I smiled and pressed my lips on mine.

We made out for a little bit, and we sat on my bed and watched movies.

"Hayes?" I said, in the middle of watching Blended.

"Yeah?"

"When is Nash and Cam moving to California, anyway?" I asked.
