*MATT'S POV*

Juliet's going crazy.

She's been doing the same thing every single day.

Wake up, eat, sit at the coffee corner, then go home and go to sleep.

It's like a broken record.

She's been staying in my apartment for the past couple of days, because she couldn't face her mom.

Lesley was sleeping over and we were sitting in the kitchen when Juliet came in.

She got a bowl of cereal and sat down next to Lesley.

We sat in silence.

"Juliet?" I asked.

"What?" She asked.

"You need to face this." Lesley said.

We all knew what she was going through, but she was in denial.

"Face what? I'm doing fine, okay?" She said kind of stubbornly.

"Fine? Juliet, you've been doing the same routine for the past 3 days. We need to do something else." I said.

"For your information, I actually like my routine." She said as she got up to put the bowl in the sink.

I got up and grabbed her by the shoulders.

"Juliet snap out of it! This isn't you!" I yelled as I shook her.

"This is me! Okay? It's always been me!" She yelled back as she went through the door to her apartment.

"I don't care if you're my best friend I don't want to see you again." She yelled as she slammed the door.

Which automatically made it lock.

"She's never like this." Lesley said.

"I know." I said.

We sat there thinking for a second.

"Why do you think she's acting like this?" I continued.

"She's only been this way once." Lesley said.

"When?"

"The last time she saw her dad before all this." Lesley said.

"Do you know what happened? And how she got out of it?" I asked.

"He showed up on her doorstep in California. They lived there before she moved here. Anyways she was there with her mom and she opened the door and there stood her dad, drunk. Juliet has always said that her dad was a bad person, but now I just think he's bad when he's drunk. He slapped her across the face then attacked her mom. I heard that he got arrested, then her and her mom moved here." She explained.

"Who got her out of it?" I asked.

"She met us, and she basically got the bad things out of her life." She said.

"I don't think that'll help since we got into a big argument." I said.

"Her mom helped." She said.

"That's not going to help either." I said.

"Then what are we going to do?" She asked.

I kissed her on the cheek.

"I know someone who could help her."

*Juliet's pov*

Someone knocked on the door.

I looked through the peephole. (A/N: idk what it's called but I hope you get what I mean)

It was Hayes.

I opened the door and we sat there in silence.

"Can I come in?" Hayes asked.

"Yeah." I said as I let him in and we sat on the couch.

We sat there in silence as we waited for one of us to start the conversation.

He faced me and I faced him.

"Whatever's going on I'm here to help." He said.

"I don't need your help." I said.

"Yes you do."

"No I don't." I said.

His lips crashed on to mine. I hesitated at first and he stopped.

"We're not together anymore.." He whispered.

I softly kissed his lips.

"We could be." I whispered.

He desperately crashed his lips on mine, and our mouths moved in sink.

Our small kiss turned into a make out session and he ended up on top of me.

He took off his shirt and I started laughing.

"What?" He said.

I couldn't stop laughing.

"Juliet?" He laughed with me.

I got out from under him and we sat face to face.

"Thank you." I whispered as I wrapped my arms around his bare waist.

He wrapped his arms around my neck.

"I'd do anything for you." He said.

We stayed in that position for a while.

"Are we back together?" I asked as I looked up.

I got lost in his eyes.

"That isn't a question." He said as he kissed me again.
