*Juliet's pov*
"So...is everyone having a good time..?" I asked, breaking the tension.
We sat down and I can literally feel the awkwardness.
"Yeah." Hayes mumbled as he bit into his burger.
We were at T.G.I.Fridays.
"How's your food?" Hayes asked.
It's a fucking salad, how is it suppose to taste?
"Fine..?" I said.
He kept staring at Lesley and grumbling.
I stared at Matt and he seemed happy with all of this.
I looked at Lesley and she kept rolling her eyes.
"Hayes, can I talk to you in private?" I asked.
He nodded and we both got up and walked away from the table.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"What are you talking about?"
"Are you fucking kidding me?" I said.
I smacked his arm.
He was holding it.
"Ow!" He yelped.
"Hayes, why do you keep looking at Lesley and grumbling?" I said.
"I have no idea what-"
I smacked his arm again.
He held my arms together.
"Juliet! She's my ex-girlfriend. How am I suppose to act?" He said.
"Not like this!" I said.
"Juliet, I'm sorry but the relationship Lesley and I had wasn't the best." He said as he let go of me.
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
"Her parents hated me." He sighed.
"I wonder why." I said sarcastically.
"Very funny. But our relationship wasn't really a relationship." He said.
"I'm sorry. Maybe we shouldn't have done this." I looked at the ground.
He lifted my chin up, and I looked at his beautiful eyes.
He kissed me softly on the lips.
"Juliet, I'm only here for you." He said. I smiled.
"If you want me to behave, then I will." He said.
"You'd do that for me?" I said.
"I'd do anything for you." He said.
We walked back to the table.
Matt stared at me.
"Sorry if things got awkward." I apologized to everybody.
"It's okay." Lesley laughed.
Matt and Hayes were talking and Lesley and I were doing the same.
"Does Hayes hate me?" She asked.
"No, why?" I said.
"He's been giving me dirty looks." She said.
"He won't do that anymore. I promise." I said.
We didn't touch our food, we ate most of it but we were all full.
The waitress took our plates away, and then she came back.
"Do you want to see the desert menu?" She asked all of us.
"No we-" Lesley said.
"Of course we'd like to see the desert menu." Matt interrupted.
"But Matt-" Lesley groaned.
"Lesley, we are going to have desert and you are going to love it." Matt said.
Lesley and I were laughing.
Matt ordered dessert for us and she brought out a chocolate cake.
We ate the whole entire thing.
The waitress brought out our check and we all paid for it.
We were walking to Lesley's house to drop her off.
She went inside and then we had to drop off Hayes.
"See you later babe." Hayes pulled me into his embrace.
He kissed my forehead and I looked up at him.
I kissed him, and he kissed back.
Matt and I went back to my apartment and we decided to head to bed because school was tomorrow.
"Goodnight Matt!" I yelled as I passed by the kitchen.
"Goodnight Juliet!" He yelled back.
I was laughing, as I went into my room.
Ashley was asleep on my bed.
I rolled my eyes and put on my pajamas.
I woke Ashley up.
"Ash! Wake up." I said.
She opened her eyes and groaned.
"I'll be in my room. Goodnight." She yawned and went to her room.
I lied down on my bed, and my eyes closed shut.
I dreamed of not being able to go to school tomorrow.
***next morning***
I woke up to police sirens.
Again?
I looked outside my window and it was a gang being arrested.
Probably stealing and selling drugs.
I got out of bed and went to the bathroom to wash my face.
While I was there I straightened my hair and put on mascara.
I put on leggings, black converse, a sweater with the Beatles on it, and a light wash jean jacket.
I grabbed my backpack and phone and went to the kitchen.
I was on my phone when Jack G. texted me.
Jack G: hey! we should chill after school.
Me: sounds good.
I bit into my apple and checked the time.
Better go get that coffee.
I put my phone in my jacket pocket and walked out the door.
I put my earbuds in and listened to music as I went on the subway.
I got off the train and walked to the Coffee Corner.
I got my usual coffee and I was out the shop.
I was making my way to school.
I saw Lesley and Michelle at the entrance and we walked in together.
"Ready for our first day of gym?"
Oh shit.
"That starts today?" I said.
Oh. Shit.

A/N: how does everyone else feel about gym? Lol I hate it. Anyways, I start school in two days and I'm not excited. Pray for meh. Oh, but good news today was I MET DYLAN O'BREIN AND THE CAST OF MAZE RUNNER TODAY?¿ they're all really tall and nice :). I love you all and I pray for you if you are already in school. <3
