*Juliet's pov*
This wouldn't be the first time I woke up with eyes that stung and my face dry.
I think I was crying all night.
Hayes doesn't stop lying.
I got up and stretched.
Now what am I going to do?
I got up and hoped into the shower.
I put my hair in a messy bun, and put on a big gray sweater, black leggings, and brown boots.
I went to the kitchen and grabbed a muffin.
Lesley came out of Matt's apartment.
"You slept there?" I asked.
"Yeah. He said I can sleep over since he's going to be away." She shrugged.
"Where is he even going?" I asked.
"With his family in Virginia." She said as she grabbed an apple and sat with me.
"So are all the guys gone? Thanksgiving is next week." I said.
"Yeah, I think all the guys are gone this weekend." Lesley said.
"What do you want to do?" I asked.
"We could have a girls day today. I mean, we haven't had one of those in forever." Lesley said.
"Of course." I smiled.
Lesley got up and went back to Matt's apartment to get ready.
I went to my room to grab my phone, then back to the kitchen.
I got a text from Hayes.
Hayes: I miss you :(
Me: me too :(
Lesley came back wearing a black long sleeve, a white scarf, and jeans.
"Okay, first I think we should go ice skating, get pizza, and then we could either go shopping or get our nails done." Lesley said.
"How about both?" I laughed.
She agreed and we walked out.
We went into the subway to go to the ice skating rink.
We walked into the rink and walked towards the skate rental.
"Do you know how to ice skate?" Lesley asked me.
"Not really." I laughed.
We tried skating but failed miserably because I pulled her down as I fell.
"Juliet! You can't just do that!" Lesley laughed.
"I absolutely can!" I stuck my tongue out at her.
"I'm done. I can't do this." Lesley laughed.
"You're such a downer." I said as I got up and skated to the exit.
I followed Lesley.
"Do you want pizza now?" I asked.
She nodded and we returned the skates.
Well if that counted as exercise than that does it for the year.
We walked to the closest pizza shop and ordered a whole pie.
Yes, we do eat a whole pie.
No, we do not feel guilty.
We ate the whole pizza and we got milkshakes.
"I guess now would be a better time than any to get our nails done." Lesley said as I laughed.
We walked to the nail salon, which wasn't that far.
We were getting a foot spa and we sat on the massage seats.
I smiled, I haven't been this content since before I met Hayes.
"Hey, Lesley?"
"Yeah?"
"Isn't it weird that all the guys are away at the same time?" I asked.
"It might be, but who cares?" She asked.
"But come on, it seems weird. All the guys are away." I said.
"Just let it go. It's the holiday season. Everyone wants to go to their family." She said.
"Except me." I joked.
"Oh, sorry." Lesley said.
"It's okay."
We continued the pedicure in silence.
We just finished and then we walked back to my apartment.
"Juliet, I was going to FaceTime Matt but I can still hangout with you." Lesley said.
"It's okay, go ahead." I said as we walked into my apartment.
She smiled as she walked into his apartment.
I lied down on the couch.
Maybe right now is a good time for a nap.
