Episode 64 : Poke your nose into something

In the sports period, Siyali was sitting in the parapet with back leaning on the pillar and legs stretched. All others except Parth and Utkarsh were playing. Those 2 were sitting together but didn't speak a word. Both of them drowned in their own sorrows which involved each other's mother. Angela didn't attend the sports period as she feel sick again.

Vidurshi was walking by the corridor when she saw Siyali sitting lost in thoughts.

Vi (bubbly) - Hai.

Siyali seeing her drops her legs down and her head bowed. Vidurshi sits next to Siyali.

Vi - Siyali, bohat stressed lag rahi ho! Koi problem hai kya?

Si - Aisa kuch nahi hai.

Vi - Koi personal problem hai toh, i won't force you to tell. But koi choti moti problem hai toh i can help.

Si - Buss ek hi sapna baar baar aa raha hai. You know, 3 din se disturb kar rahi hai.

Vi - Disturbing dream is it? (Smiles) Itni si baath. Why don't you try interpreting your dream?

Si - Main isme believe nahi karti hoon.

Vi - Believe toh main bhi nahi karti. But bohat mazaa aayega. And at the end of the day, tumhari disturbance dhoor ho jayegi. You wait here. Main apna book leke aati hoon. Usme saari interpretations hain. Just wait.

She runs to her dorm to get her book while siyali sits and wonders "Dream interpretation". What a stupid thing. And she was gonna do the same.

Few minutes later, Parth had gone to the library. Utkarsh had shifted to near Siyali while Siyali was seriously reading the dream interpretation book given by Vidurshi. She was turning pages and comparing all the items that had appeared in her dream. Niti gives the tennis racket to Prerna and comes near Utkarsh and Siyali.

Ni - Tum dhono aise chup chap kyun bete ho. Utkarsh toh phir se muh latkaake betha hai. Oye saddu amma, tu kya padrahi hai?

Si - Bus dekh rahi hoon ke mere sapne ka kya mathlab hai?

Ni - Woh 3 raat waala sapna?

Si - Haan.

Niti sits on the parapet surrounding the tree where charlie and she would usually meet while siyali and utkarsh were still on their old places.

Ni - Toh, kya kehti hai yeh kitaab?

Si - Yeh kehti hai ke koi mera bohat purana dost jo mujhe yaad bhi nahi hai, usse mujhe phir se milna hai. Kyun ki uske saath mujhe koi pyaar ka rishta hai. Usse alag hone ka mere andhar darr hai. Zindagi khud mujhe uss ladke se milaane ki koshish kar rahi hai. Uske aur mere beech joh pyaar tah, usse wapas banaana hai. I need to connect with him.

Ni - Theek toh hai. Tumhe wahi karna hai.

Si - Tumhe bhi lagta hai ki mujhe Sid ke paas jaana hai?

Ni - Sid? Tum phir se Sid ki baath kar rahi hai? Main Utkarsh ki baath kar rahi hoon.

Siyali and Utkarsh look at each other on what Niti was trying to say. Niti gets up and comes near Siyali.

Ni - Tum ab bhi woh Sid ke baarey mein soch rahi ho. Tumhe dikhayi nahi dhey raha hai? Utkarsh iske wajah se hi upset hai.

U - Kya?

Ni - Utkarsh, tum chup raho. Mujhe aaj kehne do. Siyali, Utkarsh tumse pyaar karta hai.

Siyali and Utkarsh look confused.

Ni - Tum bhi usse pyaar karti ho. Phir kyun tum humesha Sid sid sid ke bareey mein hi sochti ho. Utkarsh hi hai jisse tumhe pyaar hai. Tum dhono made for each other jaise ho. Kisi aur ko kyun tum dono ke beech aane dete ho? Tum dono ek dhosre ka saath ho tab bhi hai tumharey zindagi ka happily ever after hogi.

Si (angry) - Niti. Stop. Yeh kya kuch bhi bolrahi ho?

Ni - Kuch bhi nahi. Sach bol rahi hoon. Jab se Karishma se aaye hain, Utkarsh upset hai iss liye kyun ki poorey waqt tum sid ke saath thi. Us bichara ko kaisa lagraha hoga. Apne pyaar ko kisi aur ke saath dekh ke.

Si (confused) - Utkarsh. Tu kuch bolta kyun nahi hai? Yeh Niti hum dono ko milakar baath kar rahi hai? (Pause) Is ka matlab yeh sab sach hai?

Siyali was confused. Did Utkarsh love her? She knew that he did. But always thought that he loved her as a best friend. She couldn't think of him as anything more.

U - Pagal hogayi kya Siyali? Tu mujhe bachpan se jaanti hai. Maine kabhi tujhe uss nazar se dekha hai kya? Naa kabhi dekhunga. Main tumse bohat pyaar karta hoon Siyali. Par ek dost ke haisiyath se . Patha nahi tum dono ko kya hogaya hai.

Utkarsh felt disgusted that Niti thought of him and Siyali as lovers. Siyali was his best friend and nothing else. He left the place. Siyali was fuming with anger.

Si (angry) - Ab milgayi tasali. Sunliya na uske muh se. Niti, agar kissi aur ne yeh bola hota na, toh mujhe koi farak nahi padta. Par tu? Tu toh humey bachpan se jaanti hai na? Tum humare baarey mein aise kaise soch sakti hai? Sochte huey bhi mujhe sharam aa rahi hai. Tum? Argh.

She left the place leaving Niti alone. Siyali felt horrible. Now she felt like she understood the meaning of "Et tu, Brute?" Her own friend. Now she knew why Niti was always against Sid. May be because she thought Utkarsh and Siyali... She couldn't even think that way. She had been with Utkarsh ever since she had known. She took care of him like a mother because some part of her felt that she was obliged to do so. She remembered saying to someone "Main uska haath kabhi nahi chodungi" and now she knew Utkarsh was as hurt as she was hearing this from their best friend. How could Niti assume that they loved each other as more than friends.

As siyali walked away, Niti sat under the tree remembering how both Utkarsh and Siyali shouted at her. She started crying thinking that she had spoiled their friendship. She shouldn't have thought that way without confirming. Charlie saw Niti sitting alone and walked towards her.

C - Niti, Khelogi?

He sees that she is crying. He sits next to her and,

C - Tu ro rahi hai? Kya hua?

Ni - Main bus chahti thi ke Utkarsh aur Siyali khush rahein. Maine sirf unke bhalayi ke liye bola tha. Ab woh dono mujhse naaraz hai.

C - Woh zaroor samjhengey.

Ni - Jab tak hum orphanage mein teh, hum kabhi jhagadte nahi they. Yahan aane ke baad yeh doosri baar aisa ho raha hai. Ye jagah humarey liye bohat bad naseeb hai.

C - Aise math bolo. Yahan nahi aati, toh mujhe tum kaise milti?

Niti looks at Charlie with tears in her eyes. He wipes her tears off and,

C - Woh dono tumse bohat deyr naraz ho nahi saktey. Tumse naraz hona toh impossible hai. Tum itni sweet jo ho.

Niti smiles and hugs Charlie while he smiles and hugs her back.
