The entrance of the club was bustling with life. A lot of cars were packed in the lot and not just any car but cars belonging to the elite. It was no surprise after all this was one of the biggest clubs in Lekki. It was just a minute past 10pm at least that was what the digital clock of her car displayed. From where she was parked, she could see girls in their skimpy outfit and heels trooping into the club. One look from the bouncer could send you on your way or let you into the club.

Oh well this was it! She had driven all the way here, why turn around now? With a deep breath, she stepped out of her car and locked the doors before smoothing down her black gown that hugged her in the right places and stopped right under butt. As her simple strappy heel clicked on the ground, she sashayed towards the club emanating nothing but beauty and confidence. She stopped right behind a couple and immediately it was her turn, she stuck her chin up at the bouncer and held his eyes with a raised eye brow. After a few seconds, the bouncer stepped aside and opened the door "Enjoy your night."

As soon as the door to the club opened, she was hit by the loud music. The very ground vibrated from the vibes the speakers were giving. The dance floor was engaged but not many people were dancing because the night was still young. She made her way to the bar and found herself a stool.

"A glass of Bailey's Irish cream." She said to the bartender just before dropping her purse on the counter. While she waited for her drink, she used the opportunity to take in her environment. A couple was sitting to her left and to her right, in fact she seemed like the odd one out in the club. She should have probably come with a friend but the whole point of clubbing alone was to actually be alone except for the several individuals present.

"Your drink." She gladly accepted her glass, taking a long sip before placing the glass on the counter too. She felt her nerves relax and soon she was bobbing her head to the music playing. The DJ was playing a mix of Davido's song Fia with a blend of an afro beat that was actually nice. She wanted to let loose that night and the dance floor already seemed so appealing.

"Another glass." She signalled to the bartender who was attending to the couple to her left. That was when she noticed the 'stranger danger' who was looking at her from the extreme end of the bar. He was good looking from what she could make out in the dim coloured lights that flashed. His eyes seemed unwavering and he looked at her with an uncanny interest that was plastered all over his face. It would have been nice to look away and she would have on every other day, but today she was feeling extra confident and daring, maybe it was the effect of the drink.

"Your drink ma'am!" The bartender got her attention. That was when she looked away from the stranger.

"Thanks." She twirled the liquid in her glass for a while before taking a little sip and using the opportunity to spy the stranger again. Only that, he was no longer there. Curiosity got the better of her as she turned her head looking for where her stranger had gone to.

"Looking for me?' A husky voice breathed into her ears from behind.

She stiffened because somehow, being so close to him and the bass of his voice was both scary and thrilling. She didn't know which outweighed the other.

"Why would I look for you?" She shouted over the music to be heard.

"I don't know, may I?" He asked, gesturing to the bar stood that was just vacated by the couple.

She only acknowledged to his question with a head gesture before she took another sip of her drink.

"What is a gorgeous lady like you doing in a club all alone?"

"Well maybe you should mind your business."

He raised up his eye brow and chuckled deeply. There was that rich baritone of his voice that warmed up her skin. Up close, he was even better looking with dark eyes and neatly shaven beards.
