*Ryan's POV*

"New Yorkkkkkk, concrete jungles where dreams are made of." John sings along with the music in the Uber. I roll my eyes and the driver just laughs singing with him. "Come on Ryan." He nudges my shoulder and continues to belt out the lyrics. I watch as we pass by all the buildings in our home state, growing more and more excited as we get closer to my childhood home.

I slowly drown out Johns singing just staring in awe, like I've never seen any of this before. Its been so long since I've been home. Usually my parents and sister come to see me wanting a change of scenery. They love it in California with me, but the refuse to leave the city.

My mother, who has been a stay at home mom most of my life, likes to paint as a past time hobby. While my dad was an architect, who built my childhood home and supported our family all these years.
